After Singapore falls, Burma will be gone. But then, Burma might be gone even before, considering the quality and numbers of troops I have there...

First invasion in Java happened. I don't have much faith with Dutch defenders, though I have replaced totally poor leaders.

After Singapore and Dutch East Indies are gone, I fully expect having to fight for India and Ceylon. Well, I am prepared for that, just remains to be seen what AI will do.

China is..well..China and I don't see much gains there, especially since external supply has to be flown in from Ledo after Rangoon is lost.

North Australia is interesting dilemma. If AI invades it, I can always recapture bases later. I do like Darwin as submarine base and it has been outfitted already as one.

Port Moresby is nicely fortified and expanding. Only thing it probably cannot resist is multi-division assault combined with air/naval blockade of supply convoys. We'll see...

In South Pacific, Noumea and Suva are starting to be on safe side. More troops will be sent, though.

I can't agree about Lex and Sara being more powerful than Enterprise and Yorktown or Hornet. The latter have more sorties to work with, better fuel range and better AA with the superb 5"/38 vs the mediocre 5"/25 for Lex and Sara. Because the AI (and human players) tend to put IJ subs around Sydney for the first six months of game time I avoid sending carriers there. They can work from Pago-Pago with AE/AKE support or from Auckland, and they are far enough back for your search to locate a raiding IJN force before it traps the carriers in port.

But you have been playing the AI for at least 5.1 Grand Campaigns so your judgement is likely to be pretty good - we shall see! :!:

Statistically Enterprise-class CVs are of course superior.

Right now Lex and Sara have extra USMC squadrons that I plan to transfer to Enterprise and Yorktown when those planes are repaired. Besides, Lex and Sara are due to upgrade in March.

I am shipping more USMC squadrons for that reason from SF.

Sardaukar: 10 Sally bombers damaged at that height... Base should also be out of supply...so...are they colliding with each other, since I don't think Dutch flak could reach them...)
There was heavy rain during that attack. Perhaps that explains the damage - heavy winds and hail in the clouds? Who knows what is coded into the various weather states.
