Operation Burning Steel has begun, in the next 3 to 5 days we will see if we can shake up the Xargunite dynasty a bit. Should be fun. I believe he is about to reveal to me the location of his many air fleets, when he does I will strike and strike hard.
Well you are wrong [:D] It will be many days before I reveal any CVs, but you probably already know where they are so it doesn't matter. Speaking of which, how are your air defenses around PH ? I know your ASW is a little weak.. maybe your air defenses are too....
Well its been 2 days and quite a bit has happened on the sea. Rob's raid at Amboina was a success for him, netting 3 ships so far - 1 AP, 1 AK and 1 DD with several others mauled beyond belief.. Once they make port, they will probably just be scrapped.. No time to repair 90+ sys damage. In retaliation for the raid on Amboina, I have bombarded Pontianak and Palembang. At Pontianak I killed 3 PT boats that were in my way and bombed the base - maybe killing a couple planes - but about 100 men too. One of my ships took some damage, but not enough to worry about.. Then on to Palembang where I saw at least 2 TFs in port.. So I showed up and beat them badly - all AKs... I sunk 3 or 4 and beat the others up so bad they fled. The only nice thing about that was that I killed 100+ men on one of the AKs - so is Rob bringing men in ? Or taking them out ? I think I know which...
I have also taken Sandakan base (on Borneo) last turn and both San Marcelino (PI) and Moulmein this turn. ROb has some units just to the north of Moulmein, so I wonder if he wants to play ?
OH yeah the big news... The siege of Singapore has begun and it should not be long... Rob has pulled a few units out of the area (thats why he has so many units in Burma) and in my first attack I lost 1300 to his 1000, plus lowering the fort.. I'll probably be killing a bunch of Indian Brigades and BFs in Singapore and within a week of that fortress falling, so will Java.. I'm just waiting...
