It's beyond me how game developers of early access games can sell DLCs before the game is fully developed

Well for 13€ (Naval Action) I don´t expect to have my stomach full for weeks...

In other words, If I can pull off more then 10hrs of fun, then I can say I got an hours worth of fun for 1€, which is alot more then what we used to pay for 10min. or less on a pinball machine! [8|]

Besides, I´ll be playing Naval Action with some friends which is the whole idea behind buying Naval Action. I don´t know what some of you spend on beers on a night out with your friends, but me and my friends sure as hell spend alot more then that when we go out!

I can understand the need for more money to finish developing a game that is in Early Access. But knocking off 65% of the retail price for Naval Action thereby bringing the price down to $13.99 while selling its five DLCs for a total of $74.95 puts me off. The only thing I would consider doing is purchasing the base game and leave it uninstalled in my Steam Library until it is finished and released. I've been burnt enough on Early Access titles that never got finished to prevent me from taking a chance.

Not because someone post a game on sale means you have to buy it. Although Iam not a fan of "Early Access", I would like to point out that "some" games on EA have there core gameplay finished, and then stay on EA for future improvments and/or player base suggestions to be added. This way they still keep building up the "base" game.

It´s all very tricky because even games that are finished can have bugs which remain un-fixed for quite some time, even with DLC´s out. The case with "This War of Mine" just to name one.

You do have to do some research before you buy, no matter what, and one mans junk can be another mans treasure.

Back on topic...

Yes I agree with the price, but it does seem they have been at it for quite some time. IDJester (a Matrix YT reviwer) plays them quite alot, and so does his buddy AI RedsoxFan.

These are great games, especially the golf game and hockey a close second. Football, Baseball, and Basketball good as well. They are not career simulations, they are season replay games. So you'll want to make sure you like those type before purchasing. Company actually has an awesome 30 day return policy, you can try their full products for 30 days and if you don't like it, return it with no questions asked....no risk to ever trying them out.

As for pricey, not really for those types of games...very niche and competitive with other season replay games. With that said, DKSports has sales throughout the entire year that you often can pick things up very cheap.

If you like season replay sport games and like the sports that are available, absolutely should try them.

Last chance to get Grey Goo for 1,05€...

Fanatical Store (legit Steam keys):
https://www.fanatical.com/en/pick-and-mix/staff-picks-2018

Didn´t know the team all came from "Westwood Studios" before EA bought them out. (Command & Conquer), so you can expect a great RTS.
