Ill sign up... still haven't received my game from winning baseball last year.

Paul has stopped responding to emails

Any thoughts anyone?

Hey Jeff, not sure if anyone has mentioned it yet, as I'm in catch up mode on THE THREAD!!!, but Erik Rutins seems to be recruiting for football this season. Maybe he's a good contact to try. I think Paul is swamped with life and work, based on someone taking over as commissioner in the football league.

In the basic league USS America Tsunami are 12th and I'm 11th.

Bad luck of the draw. [:(]

I'm pretty happy with my team from the auto draft. I snagged Aaron Rogers with the 12th pick and Jimmy Graham with the 17th. I have no idea how RB's Lamar Miller and Frank Gore were available at the 40th and 45th picks! [8D]

Feels a bit strange being back at work today with all the changes in schedule, routine, and home lately. [:D]

The family whose name is Roman shall go to their house? What kind of Latin is that! Conjugate man! [:D]

It's suppose to be....

Romani Ite Domun! ("Romans, go home")

Now, write it out a hundred times.

and a dijon vinaigrette.

Just curious, John, what is a Dijon vinaigrette? A vinaigrette (oil, vinager, salt and mustard) with Dijon mustard, or something else? (like homemade mustard, or vinager, I'm interested because I've been considering making my own vinager for a while, but always seem to finish my wine bottles, so...)

It is tomato season here. Spring was cold and rainy this year, so everything is about a month late, We got our first oxhearts this week (home grafted and grown). One tomato is a salad for two adults, eat fresh, skinned (tomato with skin, bah!), with a shot of balsamic vinager, olive oil, small onions and rosemary (or basil). Next variety are the Cobras, home bred and grafted too, even bigger than the oxheart, should be ripe in a week.

(Should be domum, eh?)

We had the Matrix Pro-league draft yesterday. I started out pretty good but, but then fell off a cliff. I was picking more with my heart and not my head. My starting line up is OK, but my bench is full of cripples.

I'd say I'm a long shot to win it all.

Here too. That's what I get for not being present at the draft, eh? Well, just so long as I don't come in last, the Feces Chuckin' Apes will be happy for the opportunity to smear another with the loss.
I missed it too... Was having too much fun on CV-10 Yorktown... I did get AP though... Haven't had time to dig through all of the players. I am used to a much smaller team league.

Good morning, btw...

Really sore after this weekend of going up and down what the Navy calls stairs and standing on a steel deck for three days. Saw some really great history though. Would have loved to seen what such a majestic ship like she was in her WWII days humming like a well oiled machine. I have some pics, some didn't turn out well, but I will post the ones that did turn out and a couple of humorous ones also that only those on these boards would really understand! [:D]

On a Navy ship, they are not called stairs. They are ladders! [:'(]

ROMANES EUNT DOMUS!

Centurion: What's this, then? "Romanes eunt domus"? People called Romanes, they go the house?
Brian: It says, "Romans go home."
Centurion: No, it doesn't! What's the Latin for "Roman"? Come on, come on !
Brian: Er, "Romanus"!
Centurion: Goes like?
Brian: Annus.
Centurion: Vocative plural of "Annus" is?
Brian: Er, "Anni"!
Centurion: "Romani"... *writes "Romani" over Brian's graffiti* "Eunt"? What is "eunt"?
Brian: "Go".
Centurion: Conjugate the verb, "to go"!
Brian: Er, "Ire." Er, "eo," "is," "it," "imus," "itis," "eunt."
Centurion: So, "eunt" is... ?
Brian Third person plural present indicative, "they go".
Centurion: But, "Romans go home" is an order. So you must use... ? *twists Brian's ear*
Brian: Aaagh! Imperative!
Centurion: Which is...?
Brian: Aaaaagh! Er, er... "i", "i"!
Centurion: How many Romans?
Brian: Aaaaagh! Plural, plural... er, "ite"!
Centurion: "Ite"... *writes "ite" on wall* "Domus"? Nominative? "Go home" is motion toward, isn't it?
Brian: Dative! *Centurion pulls out gladius and holds it against Brian's throat* Aaagh! Not the dative, not the dative! Er, er... accusative, accusative, "ad domum", sir, "ad domum"!
Centurion: Except "Domus" takes the...?
Brian: The locative, sir!
Centurion: Which is...?
Brian: "Domum"!
Centurion: "Domum"... *writes "Domum" on wall* Um. Understand? Now, write it out a hundred times or I'll cut your nuts off.

What do you think of it?

I cannot play at the moment as my steam account has been possibly hijacked and so my account is frozen. Three days and two e-mails so far and no response from their "support" team [8|]
