snags...yes there are always snags. That's the nature of software development. But these are minor. Greg from Matrix is hopefully redoing the installer as I type.

What board do we post on to pester Greg from Matrix? :D

I'm looking forward to playing against a new and improved AI. The Readme that you posted looked like a large number of refinements. I hope the patch work carries over to BftB, and means progress on that front as well.

Yes it does carry over to BFTB. I finished porting the changes to BFTB earlier this week. [:)]

... but he's withholding it from his beta bunnies for fear they'll jump on it and forget about their patch #3 duties [;)]

Actually I'm adding in a new feature that enables the scenario designer to set the initial supply levels of units in the ScenMaker. Once I have this working I'll replicate it for the initial supply stocks of depots/bases.

We already send him a digital horse head as a Valentine card - I think he got the message [;)]

In all honesty : even if he came through today the beta bunnies wouldn't be able to test it tonight as bunny love takes precedence over Panther games duties [;)]

I really don't want this to hold up the next patch for even a fraction of a second... but I'm presuming that Iven Mackay of the 6th Austalian Inf Div HQ wasn't actually born in 1982 [8|]

Apologies if this has already been mentioned !

[:D] yes that's a fair presumption...but it might have to stand as Greg has posted up the new installer. I'll make a note to change that at the next opportunity.

I tested the full release installer ( the one new customers will get when they buy COTA ) this afternoon and its got the thumbs up from me. I'm waiting on beta testers to come back on the comprehensive installer ( the one existing customers will download ) and Vista compatibility. So hopefully in the next day or so we'll sign off.

Hmm, well I better get caught up on my work, because I'm going to need to clear my calendar.

From the Readme, it sounds like you tightened up the AI on sticking with attacks a little longer.

I guess there's another snag then.

Yeh, the only outstanding issue is to test the patch installer on a Vista machine. Matrix have volunteered to do this early next week.
