Am I allowed to intercept with a disorganised sub? Even if so I am not going to.

No. You are only allowed to intercept/search with a disorganized unit in the same impulse it became disorganized because it activated to intercept.

Mar/Apr 1940
Impulse: 7

The Japanese close the Burma Road and the US in not happy.
The Germans align Romania - and they are even unhappier.
But they couldn't give a rats about the aligning of Siam.

The Japanese 23rd Infantry Army land in Persia and a TERR takes to the water and ends up in the South China Sea.

The German navy puts to sea in the Baltic

The Japanese try a ground strike in the mountain of southern China - the outcome was as expected...

A German ARM is railed to Galicia

A MIL moves into La Spezia

Sadly the weather has killed any chance of further German success in the USSR. They take Kaunas and Vilna.

A Japanese unit lands in Haichow

The Germans re-base a few aircraft

The turn continues on a 10

And the weather is quite incredibly a 6 Storm, Rain.......

Now Maitland, now's your time!

CW declare war on Italy and one US entry chit is removed.

CW take a combined and the rest take land.

CW port strike the Italian fleet in La Spezia. The surprise roll was a 7 and that give CW 11 surprise points. Four of them were used to reduce the Italian AA fire.

CW targets Vittorio Veneto but the battleship resits and is just damaged.

Now it is time for Italy to select a target. Which ship will you select?

CW decide to continue targeting Vittorio Veneto but Italy manage to roll high on all their 'saves' so Vittorio is only bottomed.

Unfortunately I can not get the end of turn production to work as it should. I need to go back to a earlier step in order to try and fix it but, alas, I did not make any such save. And my autosaves have been overwritten by autosaves from other games. Closest save I have is from the beginning of the last impulse.

So should we retire this game or is it worth the effort to recreate the last impulse?

Depends on what the problem is. I have a load of saved games for this game - but is the problem one that won't go away or is it fixable?

Really hate the idea of losing games after so much time and effort - and frankly is really disappointing that fundamental issues are still arising in what is effectively a Hot Seat game.... [:@]

The save I have is the latest one since it was my impulse that was the last made.

I'll will make an attempt then and recreate my last impulse. Some, or most, of the land moves will be different but the combats will be the same.

Then we will see if it is recoverable or not. [:)]
