I don't use (Microsoft) Paint. I use Paint.net, which is much more powerful and very easy to use (and free).

http://www.getpaint.net/index.html

Be wary - the ad services have made the site a mine field of lookalike download buttons/links to try and get you to download other software.

This is the actual link for the download:
http://www.dotpdn.com/files/paint.net.4.0.6.install.zip

Inside the .zip file is the .exe that will install the software.

BTW, due to so many good free software programs often being bundled with crapware, the site ninite.com (https://ninite.com/) has sprung up and provides installers that automatically opt-out of all the crapware. Have a look at them. You can (if you like) get Paint.net, Greenshot, and other things there.

I will delete the Greenshot I have, and then attempt to download Greenshot and Paint.Net from the link you provided.

Wish me luck.

Thank you.

Best Regards,

-Terry.

If the link that witpqs doesn't do the job for me, I'll try that imgur!

Thanks!

The Greenshot that you have might already be fine. The thing to watch for is 1) some free/open source software is being distributed with 'optional' crapware that you can opt out of in the installation if you notice it, and 2) many advertisers stick crapware download links on legitimate free/open source software sites, hoping to fool you into clicking on them instead of on the site's own (official) download link.

Oh - if you did get any crapware installed without wanting it, uninstalling Greenshot will not make it go away. What you might do is oen up the Windows Control Panel, Programs, Programs and Features, then click on the "Installed On" column to sort by the date of installation. Look for anything installed the same day as Greenshot was installed.

You are welcome!
But I am really interested in how you will defend China from South Australia - never saw that strategy before! Are you using the ex-pat Chinese railway workers and restaurant owners? [;)]

Interesting how 5 shots from your CD guns scored 6 hits on the DMS! Your gunners wouldn't exaggerate a bit now, would they?[;)]

Interesting how 5 shots from your CD guns scored 6 hits on the DMS! Your gunners wouldn't exaggerate a bit now, would they?[;)]

The Situation in China
As of February 21. 1942

Opening Note

From Day One of The War in the Pacific, El Lobo has committed substantial assets and pressed hard in China.

Japanese aircraft have bombed China every single day.

The Imperial Japanese Army has steadily marched toward Sian from three main avenues of approach: Paotow to Lanchow, Chengting to Sian, and Kaifeng to Sian.

El Lobo has sent a meager force from Nanyang toward the mountains West of Sian.

Present Primary Japanese Positions

Lanchow: 7 armored units.
1 hex NW of Sian: 48 units (tons of artillery)
Sian: 17 units
Ankang: 1 unit
1 Hex West of Nanyang: 7 units
Nanyang: 1 unit

Present Primary Chinese Positions

The Chinese have interdicted all Japanese primary supply road routes to Sian.

Additional Chinese units are positioned to close in behind the Japanese as they advance toward Chungking.

Lanchow: Fort 3 (61%); 573 AV
Kuchang: Fort 2 (78%); 211 AV
Tienshui: Fort 2 (67%); 195 AV
Hex 81,41 (Mountain Hex at Crossroads): 2,675 AV
Kienko: Fort 4 (16%): 2097 AV
Chungking: Fort 6; 4339 AV

Supply is still getting to China via The Burma Road, but a fight is in progress for control of Tsuyung.

End Note

China will fall; all of China.

I am simply hoping to disrupt his supply to a substantial degree to slow down his ability to attack and advance.

Best Regards,

-Terry
