Early 1944 the Balkans suddenly gets new Partisan spawn hexes.
I'm pretty sure that there was no information to warn the human player about it (even though i got warned to secure the jugoslavian alps in 1941, several times, even though all partisan hexes were already secured).
Same is true about the partisans at Corsica, of course.

best would be to offer a DE for Garrison purchase & placements each and every time new spawning spots are about to be introduced.

After the Fall of France, the Fall of Yugoslavia, Greece, and whenever the war escalates into more partisans.

Hi Claus

There is a warning in the autumn of 1943, and it's also covered in the Resistance Movements section of the Strategy Guide.

Maybe I could have the P locations appear from the autumn of 1943 even though they won't become active until 1944, would that help?

Great suggestion, Bill!

Or you could add a pop-up an information during December 1943 (last warning, next turn all hell will break loose if you don't watch out for all those new P spots on the map).

Personally I would prefert a DE where I could just buy additional garrison units (like the way the Axis gets the garrison units for Norway). Just because it is no joy to move units on the map only to let them reach partisan hexes. An optional (DE) initial auto-placement would be quite an improvement, at least for my personal taste. I would even be willing to simply pay to avoid partisan activities. On a yearly basis, maybe with two options (yes = high costs = the hinterland will be quiet and "peaceful", "no" = low costs, and every now and than the Partisans will appear or sabotage, the later the year, the higher the acitvites).

When Bulgaria switched sides due to the proximity of Soviet forces, there is Tactical German bomber unit that cannot be attacked when I move either the soviet corps or army close to it.
Is it because they spend all their AP to get adjacent to the enemy unit?
Sending you the save Bill so you can take a look, just in case.

Thanks for this Rafael, I will pass it on to Hubert as in addition to this problem, I've noticed something else very strange - even though it's the Allied turn, I can upgrade the German Tactical Bombers! [X(][&:]

Hi Bill I did not noticed this before, I continued with the turn and what you can upgrade is the city defenses not the German Tactical Bomber, which shouldn't be able in any case as Pleven should be German controlled.

Edit:
Same thing happens in Sofia, the city defenses can be upgraded.

Also in both cities there should be the frontline "border" as to indicate they're German controlled and it's missing.

In the next turn as I was unable to attack Sofia, Bulgaria surrendered to Germany and got mpps from plundering, this time the isolated Soviet unit did bring up the right frontline.

You are right, I was so surprised at being able to upgrade that I didn't realise it was the resource rather than the Bombers.

I was however able to attack the Slovak unit in Sofia with Soviet forces.

We had some previous issue with the Soviets not getting proper supply in conquered Finland, this may be something similar. I am playing as the Allies against the computer Axis. Rommel ran me out of the Middle East so I put the Soviets into the area to calm him down. When I got a couple of units next to Baghdad the Iraqi's folded, and now Iraq is Allied territory, but I don't think the Soviet units are getting proper supply.

In the shot, the green circled unit is at '0' while the hex is at '5'. The other units in Iraq are experiencing the same, while in Persia supply is looking normal [i.e., a '3' hex gives a unit '3'].

Thanks for reporting this and I am very confident that this is the same problem and therefore fixed in the upcoming patch.

Did we lose the little upgrade indicator numbers ? Or did I screw something up when I uninstalled 1.08 and installed 1.09 ? [The white numbers are there once a unit is upgraded]

EDIT: Try hitting 'U' on the keyboard and they should be there ... thanks Mr. Wormwood !!

No, the numbers can still be activated. The only odd thing is that they are activated by default, but yet the numbers are not shown.
Go into the settings menu, sub menu advanced, and you will find the option Unit Ressource Research Levels flagged. Unflagg it and flagg it again, Than you will see the number the way which you are used to.
Press the "U" key to see the possible unit upgrades in green color.

When the Germans go from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean - the message asks if you want to continue through to the Atlantic.

The "Max" button for reinforcements is still dark making it look like it can't be chosen.

Don't know is this is a bug...

I try and move one of my air units to a captured city and instead of moving it attacks it. Why would it attack an already captured city? You would think I would learn but I keep doing it[:@]
