I decide to explore the underground bomb shelters more thoroughly since I've seen the HQ remains the last time.

Looks like something came through here at a rather high velocity.

Back to the LVT guarding the 200mm gun.

Once again the 200 mm Japanese coastal defense gun that never fired.

New stuff for this second visit to Peleliu.......The first time here a noticed a little used trail heading off to the left rear from the cave. Off I go. Over 50 yards back I find something.

A cave entrance with some barrels in front of it. A supply depot for the gun?

Looking a little tight so I choose to not go in.

It's been 15 min so I head back to the gun.
