How's the US air force doing? I haven't seen much of it just yet.
Some fighters could be of use in southern China now that you should be able to directly operate planes from the US to Indian-controlled Vietnam. That should surely help alleviate some of the air issues in that front. Not to mention that conquering the rest of Indochina will boost supply down south via the rail line.
Good job on Hanoi though.

I think generally I have bought too little aircraft with both Axis and Allies. Certainly my opponent seems to have many more than me.....

Should I be knowing what enemy income is? If so then no probs, but please don't tell me anything I shouldn't be aware of.
The graphs have a wealth of information available, allowing very direct peeks through the fog of war. You not only can see the enemy's income, but also what he's invested, the number of each basic unit type that he has on the map (if you see a sudden jump in his navy it may presage an invasion), and tech & diplomacy investments.
Note I have argued with TPTB to have these capabilities turned off, or at best triggerable by Spying Tech hits here and there.
The Japanese are now in pretty bad shape. Assuming that you've put a number of Essexes into the pipeline, you'll be able to replace & augment your carrier; he won't be able to replace his. And China will attrition his armies to death, even if his air outnumbers yours (not moving them into the Pacific to help in that big battle was a mistake). And he left the Persian door to the oil fields unguarded? Tsk tsk. You have this I'd say at this point, depending on how you handle all of the upcoming invasions.

Okay thanks. I don't tend to look at this stuff - other than losses.

In China the surrounded Japanese army is no more and the Japanese army get pushed back further across the front.
I finally get underway in the desert again. There were no interceptors to my bombers so its possible the Germans have scarpered....
Not much happening in the USSR. I continue to creep forward in the Caucasus.

Yes, common knowledge to every veteran player. You could even go so far as to jot down changes in the various data fields which can't be looked back at in time (i.e. said unit counts). Like I said wish there was a toggle to turn all of that off...

I wish the replay wouldn't go so fast!!
What happened in China seemed to be limited to giving the British - advancing from FIC - a good pasting....
This goads the Chinese into action and they re-take Nanning, while the British land special forces on Hainan and inflict some pain on a Japanese air unit.

Elsewhere, progress is limited. The Germans have definitely left the Italians to it in the desert. I just need to be able to exploit this but...
Supply problems are also hampering efforts in the Solomons and the southern FIC.
In the Soviet Union a Romanian Army is destroyed and I order a general - but limited and cautious - advance....

Where to begin?
I think my British sub, deployed south of Hainan sunk a transport. Sadly though, a paratroop unit was able to grab the port. The special forces attacks the Japanese with some success.
Elsewhere, the Chinese reinforce existing units.

In the Caucasus, I destroy a tank corps that had mauled one of my infantry corps and push up. This reveals the extent of Axis forces in the area....
Despite this, the Germans remain panzer heavy....

The Japanese decided to open up all along the front!! So I hit back but I only make progress in the north, where I push back a corps and quite badly damage it.
Elsewhere in this theatre and the Med its just a slow boat to no where... I need to understand supply better.

In the south I am mighty cheesed off. The Germans hit the Soviets hard with their panzers and I willingly took some hits in a counter-attack that I knew would destroy the panzers by sheer weight of numbers. BUT having got down to 1 factor, the unit retreated about 3 hexes.....

The Chinese/British force in the south continue to make slow but steady progress. Another British unit lands on Hainan to try and block any retreat from Pakhoi. Meanwhile the Chinese 17th Army is forced back toward Hong Kong.

I get careless off New Guinea and a superior Japanese force finds my British fleet and I lose destroyers and light cruisers. I have no choice but to retire and hope, but I have to assume my fleet will be found and picked off....
Sadly time is starting to run out and I am bogged down out of supply everywhere in the Pacific and possibly about to lose a whole British fleet....
In the Soviet Union I continue to press but not making too much progress as the enemy have numbers.
