Nice move. Looks like the Allies landed near Brest with armor and quickly moved to envelope Normandy. I like the strategy and tactics. However, so far you’ve been playing the scenario as a historical simulation, so I’m surprised by the non-historical play. Still, this doesn’t detract from the scenario, in fact it shows how fluid the decision making can be. Good play.

Thanks for the comments. I thought the Axis would have moved to Germany by now. Every last movable unit seems to be gone. Only the fixed bunkers are left to delay the Allies. This will make Germany much more difficult to take now.

T220 11/13/43 The Allies have broken through the Axis defense of the Brenner pass. This will allow a southern offensive towards Berlin along with the Soviets from the east and the Allies from the west.

T227 1/1/44 The view from space shows the Axis Bot holding on the German western border and in the east but in the south it is disaster.

T229 1/15/44 Here is the Western Front. Note the Ruhr, Hamburg and the Berlin defensive areas. While the Allies have a deadly presence in southern Germany, the Axis Bot is still full of fight!

T229 1/15/44 Here is the Eastern Front. These units are separate from the entire Western Front. It will take a long time for the Red Army to make it close to Berlin. Keep in mind that the German Army will replace many of the units that are damaged or destroyed on the map. In addition, many new formations will appear in the Berlin area.

T229 1/15/44 Here is a view of the South Pacific plan to victory over Japan. The US forces will go into the Philippines, then Formosa and a few Chinese bases before invading Okinawa for the finish of Japan. This will bypass all the usual islands. We shall see if the Japanese Bot can defeat the US Army/Navy/Marine plan.

Sorry to hear about your PC's problems.
Looks like the scenario is running about 1 year ahead of historical progress. Seems a common theme in wargames, their action tends to be too decisive with less 'down time' than was required historically.
Cheers

T235 2/26/44 Here is the Eastern front. Note Berlin and Warsaw are in view. There are still many Axis troops not visible in the picture that need to be destroyed.

T238 3/19/44 If Allied units get too close to Berlin the Bot destroys them. During this turn the New Zealand Division was evaporated.

T238 3/19/44 Here is the big picture of the Bot Berlin defenses. I do not think Berlin will fall before 1945. All the Allied units are in. Many more units are on the way but it will take a while. The Red Army is still further away and doing their best.

T241 4/9/42 The fleet is on the move. In addition to supporting the landing and CAP the Fleet is bombing Axis Bot airfields to reduce the counter attacks. The Japanese fleet is also intact so a massive surface action can happen at any time.
The plan is to move north into Mindanao.

T241 4/9/42 Here is a view of brave UK forces only 4 hexes from Berlin. The Axis Bot will lash out most likely. The Soviets are not close enough to help the Western Allies that overexposed and need to pull back for a while.
