Nothing
I've heard of the Allied player playing "good Sir Robin" before, but you are really, really good at it! [:D]

And in your infinite wisdom and knowledge of the forces on the map, just what should I be doing? I am working on setting up defenses where I can. I do have limited forces at this time in the game.

Note the big grin smiley after my post. It was just hinting that if absolutely nothing happened you must have cleared all contact with the enemy. But we know you are only posting actions you think are significant, so it was a just-kidding kind of comment.

Next is the Southern Pacific area. Again, not much happening
I am trying to build/reinforce Pago Pago, Suva, Nadi, Noumea, Efate and Luganville
I am short on troops to do all of this, but I am trying.

In the PNG and Solomon Islands area, he has taken a few bases. I have
reinforced Port Morseby by a bunch, there is more that a division there,
aircraft and PTs. I will be moving the 3rd motor Brigade in the next few turns

In the DEI area. He has been most active here taking a number of small
islands the last few turns, He still has more work to do on Java
Note that Palembang shows Oil 714(187), refineries 809(212), so he has
some work there to repair.

And last we come to India/Burma/China

As you can see, I have abandoned China. He had moved all available troops from
Manchukuo and I did not see a way to stop him. I did not do the best job in
trying to stop him. He and I discussed this earlier in a discord conversation
so he knew this might be my response. I will get about 95% of the Chinese forces
to India. It will take another month or so to finish it.

As can be seen, there is not a lot of places I can realistically engage him.

He has bases with Nells and Betties that can fly torpedoes in the DEI area, so moving surface combat fleets into the area is fraught with danger.

I have engaged with aircraft in the PNG area and will try to do so again if/when he moves forces into the area.

I do not know where KB is at this time.

He has not flown air missions into India up to now, but I expect that to change soon, I have a number of USAAF fighters and bombers available soon, but I will be short on well trained pilots for a good while.

I subscribe to the idea that I cannot win the game in 1942, but I can go a long way toward losing the game in 1942.

I have most of my air units training as fast as they can, but it takes time.

Further consideration:

I do not know exactly how many of what size of CVs/CVLs he has, but I have to consider that he easily could have 8 size 81 CVs and 4 size 48 CVLs. That is very potent, and I only have 5 size 90 CVs to oppose him at this time. A bit of an unequal situation.

And another consideration for lack of action lately, warship upgrades. About 90% of the USN
warships do an upgrade in April of 1942. I tend to do about one half at a time rather than
all of them at once, so it takes 6 - 8 weeks to get them all done.

Nothing exciting

I did get this intel note:
21st Division is planning for an attack on Port Moresby.
Might prove interesting. The last time I saw this unit was
May 1, 1942 at Bataan. It was at Singapore Mar 3, 1942.

I find it nearly impossible to build a decent AF at Dutch Harbor. I built the port quickly to 6, but those same engineers in a year of building have only managed to get the AF to .75 level. If you want to protect DH, you could try Dora Harbor (1P, 4AF) and if you want to threaten Adak (by far the best base in the Aleutians) build the AF at Umnak (0P, 5AF). Any way you cut it, you need a couple of good AFs to first defend the Eastern Aleutians and then start to raid into the Western Aleutians.

Don't know how you got to move all those restricted Chinese units to India-Burma, but there is a down side to that: they will suck up all the supply if you allow them to fill out. I usually set no replacements, no upgrade for Chinese units and then pick the ones with the best experience and leaders to fill out to an AV over 500. I know they can get their AV up to around 800, but at some point you need to scatter some high AV units in a number of places so I prefer (8 X 500) over (5 X 800).

I am building the forts at Dutch Harbor, I have my only Infantry regiments there and of course NoPac HQ. I need to see about protecting them first. When I get more units that I can sent there I will see what other bases I can occupy and build.

I have more than 1.5 Million supply in India and more coming in every day. The biggest problem with filling out the Chinese is there is not enough devices( squad, weapons, etc ) to fill them all out. I will have to see which ones I want to fill out and which will just stay the size they are now. I have all but a very few units set to no replacements and will turn on the ones I want as I go.

As far as moving them, I just marched them, we have no house rules. If he had not moved all the excess units from Manchukuo I might have been able to hold him from taking the entire country, but I was not able to do that.
