That was pretty painful. Short turn followed by a double impulse and clear weather. General Maurice Gamelin has been replaced!

Yes, a double impulse that lets the attacker open with fine weather in MWIF is often brutally painful. If your opponent has an O-chit, it’s easily twice as nasty—and when the attacker also starts rolling well, it’s basically goodnight.
And remember—France started the impulse with a double line!
