PC version?

Get ready for Mark H. Walker's Lock ‘n Load: Heroes of Stalingrad. This is the first complete computer game in the Lock ‘n Load series, covering the battles in and around Stalingrad during World War II.

I think this game is good enough for a paid beta (essentially a pre-order with beta access) like stardock did with GC2. Where can I send my money?

If a little outfit like stardock could do it why not Matrix? [:D]

DOH!
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"

I posted about a review of LnL in Sep 07 Games For Windows separately (http://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=1554367).  This article stated that "You'll be able to buy Heroes of Stalingrad in about six months", which implies a March 08 release date.

Mark responded that Games For Windows did not set the release date,  but I do assume that the reviewer, Bruce Geryk, was working from information that was provided by Mark or other people involved in the project.

Is the game going to have those headache inducing white Halo Hexes?

Or at least a way to turn off the SOBS.

They would seem to be optional and/or not present since only one of the many screenshots released have them...

No Halos, in fact Mark Walker also moved away from the halos for his other game releases.

While waiting for the PC release, why not add yourself to the Lock 'N Load VASSAL online competitors listing to whet your appetite?

gosch...great...where is this country going in terms of costumer care?[:(]
you guys should be happy on your knees that there is still peeps out there spending $ on games.

I am a loyal fan and customer of Matrix and have bought many games from them and will continue to do so. I also have always appreciated the support from many at Matrix to include Marc.

I guess I can excuse the response Marc gave (I do not care to repeat it by copying it) as him having a bad day or just frustrated or whatever as I have never seen that kind of reply before on these forums. And I have written many emails and posts in a quick bit of anger I regret for sure.

But at the same time I would say I find Marc's reply rude in general to a potential customer's inquiry - but I especially find it offensive as a Christian and a believer and follower of the one whose name he uses as a swear word. In this day of political correctness to so many groups and interests and varied religions, Marc, could you please show a bit of public restraint if not public respect towards Jesus Christ?

Michael
