Not being on nights when the clocks go back still has that novelty feeling [8D] I spent too many 13 hour night shifts with that particular gem of an occurrence [:(]

Pumpkin pancakes with Minnesota's own maple syrup. Orange juice. Cottage cheese on the side for breakfast.

Got a roast with seasonings, garlic, potatoes, carrots and celery in the crock pot for dinner tonight.

Beautiful and sunny 56F out now. Think I'll record the Cowboys' televised game and go out for a bike ride with the girl while I can. It's a good day. [8D]

Back at work after a fun weekend of hockey in Charlotte. Alex had an absolutely amazing run of 4 games in net. He was unbelievably good, and had everyone in the rink from our parents, to the opponents, to innocent bystanders seeking him out to congratulate him on his performances! Very proud papa! [8D]

The team, well, they did get their first win of the season, which required an amazing shutout by Alex, but I think it may be a long season. [:D]
