I always take this report with a big grain of salt, as I think there is a lot of inflation in the losses number when units retreat.

That is a serious load off your mind.
Are they heading to the Soviet border?

Wenchow falls, freeing up 4 divisions and 2 hq. Whew.

A very nice day in the air with very inferior planes. The Soviets threw 56 Migs at the Oscars today...and because of their orders (I am guessing here) they significantly under-performed but still accounted for the lion share of Oscar losses on the day. If the Soviets would have started off with three sweeps of 18 Migs each....it would have been ugly.

Oscars 1c can handle anything Allies can throw in the riddle right now, provided they are used in good numbers and consistently.
This includes the P 38 at Singapur...
Really man, wouldn't you consider concentrating your air assets on Malay-Sumatra to wear off Allied fighter force, once and for some many good months to come?

How many days until A6M3 arrives ... should be soon, right?

You seem to be under the impression I have a lot of fighters. I don't. I won't until the Nick the A6M3 and Tojo show up. I have repeatedly shown this in pictures, and in words.

No, we're pointing out the opportunity or need to painfully concentrate the limited air assets over Malay- Sumatra...even at the high cost to leave Manchuria uncovered, hopefully for the shortest time possible...

So two weeks until A6M3 arrives and you say it will be in BIG production numbers. At this point in the war, it is very competitive aircraft. Not quite what George is if it arrives in early '43, but still pretty good. It should swing air war in your favor IF you can get enough built.
