Morning tithe.

Snow in the forecast. High winds. Still got the beater in the dent & fender shop, so I'm gonna become violently ill, & sleep in [:'(]

Dead last out of 14 teams in the Matrix Basic League. I couldn't even qualify for the Consolation playoff bracket. [:D]

Last in the league. But 1st in the hearts of his countrymen! [:D]

You could always switch games. Like to WITP AE? [:D]

Steve-O, you have no idea how much I want to play again! I have lots of reminders to keep my AE mistress in the front of my mind, like the fact that my home computer's wallpaper is the AE map. [:D]

My mistress has to remain patient with me, though, as I negotiate through the rest of this school year and hockey season. At the end of this year, Alex will have his full driver's license and I get hours of my life back every week. I'll be able to get in lots of triathlon workouts and tend to my mistress, while still taking care of my family. Right now, the excess 20 pounds I've gained are forcing me to trim a bit of sleep from my day/night in order to get in any kind of exercise.

AE is a jealous but patient mistress. She will still be there, demanding as much time as I can devote to her, when my schedule frees up a bit.

Torsten is the really patient one! [&o] He's waited over a year since the last turn in our PBEM game that we started knowing it would be a VERY long game. We joke that we will both have long gray beards when we finally finish the game, but we are both determined to finish it one day. [8D]

Don't reply on it. My son turned 16. Now I spend a lot of time just trying to find time with him.

Very interesting, Simon. Thanks. I hadn't appreciated Conqueror's efforts in ASW in the later logs until seeing these.

Very true! Despite tying up most of my free time, we've had a tremendous amount of fun together over the years while on hockey trips, etc. It will be even harder for his mom to deal with. [:)]

My parents had the solution to this dilemma. 1st they INSISTED that I get my license as soon as possible (I had just turned 15) , they provided me with the use of a "family junker" , then assigned me the role of "designated errand boy and babysitting chauffer".

THEY then had lots of free time. I had none. [:(] [:D]
