What on earth will it take to force a French surrender? They've been at nearly -1000 National Morale for 2 turns now...

A/H in.

About the surrender, played the AI for 11 turns with close to -1000. It is not a given that any nation will surrender, it is a dice-toss, so guess you are unlucky with the dice/France lucky [;)]

Lenin, at least the French morale, barring a surrender or a military victory should stay below -750 for quite a while.

Gentlemen,

My appologies for the delay, will get my turn in tonight when I get home.

My son was born over the weekend and came very early (premature) and caught us by surprise. He will be at the hospital for a couple weeks (he's doing very well) and my turns may be slow, but I still believe I can turn them around like before. This time I was away unexpectedly, hope you can understand.

Napoleon sends fine cigars and brandy to everyone's camp, even enemies of France. I am currently enjoying a Rocky Patel vintage 1990 with my brandy. [:)]

Cheers,

Bill

Phew!
Forced a French surrender by the skin of my teeth! If it had gone on another turn, I was considering offering terms myself!

Probably won't submit my turn tonight as I've got to work out how the pace treaty thing works, and submit my turn for the other game.

Hehe yeah my NM is rock bottom atm. Didn't even make it to battle that turn. [:D]

Question: Berg shows to be part of Bavaria which is a Prussian protectorate. I am unable to cede it back to Prussia and it doesn't show up on my list so I can liberate it. The only thing i seem to be able to do is liberate it by a treaty (and not totally sure that will work). I know this was also something we didn't discuss prior to starting this one, and not sure how you guys want to handle it. Any ideas/thoughts?
