The Soviets make their last stand at Murmansk and appear to fight to the last bullet. They seem to have saved some PPs and can probably make up losses for a long time.

Murmansk cannot be taken amphibiously. It is considered too far inland apparently. We rely on our land approach only.

We bring some aircraft over to England (to just north of Southampton). The English capital falls. We are also still working on containing the new Soviet "ghost army" in the far east which seems to control some land after all but does luckily not have any supplies.

January 16, 1942 : There is a qute large, but weak, "ghost" army south of the one the Germans know of. However it cannot take land and really has no effect.

Axis, March 1st, 1942

At this point it is absolutely unclear to the Axis HQ how to break through the defenses before Murmansk. Our out-of supply tanks cannot do it and air attacks are very ineffective, too. We have plenty of production but not enough space around Kiem where to deploy any more aircraft in range of the front line and also with sufficient supply. (The Murmansk front is not shown since it is unchanged.)

In long marches through the isolated winter forest, German infantry moves towards the last NE-Russian PP centers for many month now. We may have to out-wait the dwindling of the Russian PP reserves so that the little damage we do every turn before Murmansk cannot be repaired.
