Larry just a small suggestion. You could add a post on dividing the unit for encircling of enemy.

Just use the right-click pop-up menu choice "divide" and there will pop up a new dialog to inquire how many pieces your heart desires up to a max of three. I've done that and all of a sudden I have three small RR arty's instead of one big one.

Hey there Paul...Thanks for posting...I was wondering if anybody was still reading this thing. And welcome to the forum. Lots of friendly people here to answer questions and tell you war stories and so on. There's a learning curve to TOAW IV and I'd like to help people over that struggle if I can. I'll do a bunch more for this thread. I'll try to make it entertaining.

I've stored the file for this game in a very safe place...so safe I can't find it so I'm starting over and this is how far I've gotten by combat round 8 I've got one more attack scheduled and I doubt that I'll get another round so this is probably the end of turn one.

I executed that one final attack and after it resolved I ended up with another combat round ( 9 ) and 20% of my turn remains. So I have ONE MORE attack to do and surely that will end my turn. But before I execute that one last attack this is how hard I've been on the Soviets this turn.

Here's the northern front lines currently and you can see how I'm fighting to get into the Leningrad area and the Soviets are putting up a fight. I expect to get more units into the area to help out so this should be cleared out within a couple of turns.
