To Alfreds point I cannot claim any more this is an update to an official scenario its merely my mod now and I am simply lazy so sticking to scen 2

Scen 1 will get the same updates (where appropriate) that I added to Scen 2 probably tonight but for example I won’t be adding the 5/46 carrier to that scenario as that’s supposed to be pure
The only areas I am comfortable changing things in scen 1 is AI and Land
I added the new bases to help the AI so even though I don’t think Andrew is 100% comfortable with what I did given it’s mostly for AI I am happy to leave it
But I never go crazy on scen 1
I feel I have more flexibility on Scen2 as I was the primary author of that scenario
You could almost call it the very 1st mod of AE !!!

OK so everyone is aware I was getting uncomfortable that I was making amends to scen 1 with no other dev involved and probably didnt have the right to call it scen 1 anymore - I was going beyond what I should have done
SO
Post 1 of this thread now has a version of Scen 1 with my new bases eliminated and other changes that are not bug fixes removed but has the new AI file and all the bug fixes I processed - ie more or less back to the original vision of the original devs - I dont agree with it I think the new bases help the game but I dont have the right to call my vision scen 1 - any updates to this particular version of the scenario will be kept pure and will just be bug fixes
Post 2 has the Hakko Ichiu version and being blunt I was the main author of that scenario so I have left the new bases in for now - If folks really dont like it I will probably move that to another number as well but for now I dont want to maintain too many scens
Post 3 has scen 1 but with all my fixes including the new bases etc it overwrites quiet china but as I stopped maintaining that scenario in 2010 and the AI doesnt bother you much in China in either version I think thats reasonable.
