Turn 31. Axis. October 25, 1940. East Africa. Start of Turn.
1. Looks like the Brits are also serious about defending East Africa.
2. It was fun while it lasted but the Italian forces here, which are also all on their own, have transitioned to the defensive.
3. It's about tying up as CW forces and holding on for as long as possible.

Turn 31. Axis. October 25, 1940. Coast of East Africa. End of Turn.
1. Adm Graf Spee reinforced by another step.
2. Italian DD, with no safe harbor available, was instead sent as a raider off the coast of East Africa.
3. Honestly, all these forces are expendable IF they manage to tie up greater CW forces for a reasonably long period of time.
4. I rather have the Brits focusing their attention, resources and forces here and in North Africa versus Europe.

1. Well, hopefully the Wehrmacht will be able to celebrate Christmas in Paris. Possibly Thanksgiving ... which I know is an American Holiday.
2. At least the Wehrmacht and Luftwaffe are getting live fire training this Fall instead of sitting around like they did during Stizkrieg.

Turn 31. Axis. October 25, 1940. Battle of the Atlantic (1/3).
I keep my u-boats moving. That is, don't keep them park in the same place for long. Not sure if that matters but seems like a good thing to do.

Turn 31. Axis. October 25, 1940. Northern China. Start of Turn.
1. Looks like the Chinese offensive in the north was more of a raid than a full blow offensive.
2. The Chinese pull back west.

Turn 31. Axis. October 25, 1940. Southern/Central China. End of Turn.
1. A bit of attritional combat, which turned out was pretty much an even exchange.
2. Also, repositioning of ground and air forces.

Turn 33. Axis. November 22, 1940. Research. Japan.
1. I have a confession to make. I haven't explicitly checked on research, for any of the axis, since I max'ed out both Japan's and Germany's.
2. To my surprise, when I checked Japan's they had 755 MPPs left in their ceiling. This surprise is due in no small part from my ignorance of the rules.
3. Japan spends 400 of that 755 MPPs ceiling for chits in Logistics, Production Technology and Industrial Technology.

1. Germany's research when I last checked it was at its ceiling.
2. When I checked it this turn it was 600 MPPs below its ceiling.
3. Germany spent 250 of its 600 MPPs ceiling left in chits for Spying and Intelligence and Logistics.
