Looks a lot like freeboy filled up the ocean with sunk allied ships to build a road to Java. Its amazing the pounding the allies can take and still advance. I thought I was profligate with allied ships but Freeboy has me beat hands down, he is the master[&o].

Zeta I don't know if your right about not sinking any more CVs. Maybe, but that depends on a lot of things even really good cap is not really good all the time. I notice you have only lost one BB, are the rest intact or damaged?

They are all in great shape.

Nope you can't Bruma is lost. A warning to all that play as the Japanese. If you do not take out India you will not be able to hold Burma for every long.

I would not say I am a fanboy since I have more allied games than the Japanese, but the allies will move fast for the same reason the Japanese do. We knowwhat happened in the past so we can do better than they did in history.

The japanese fan boys are doomed since the beginning

the Jap player gets every thing in 41.. and send it all to sra, some troops to hit RB and Lunga.. And PI then swings against India.. it will be hard for the Brits to hold against the weight .. Zeta And I paused a game with my stated goal of a 42 attack and capture of Bombay and Kurachi.. the rest will wither.. asfter that all those troops there go against whomever.. it will be interesting if we ever start it up again.. but after 10 or 11 42, the odds slow way way down as lots of troops come on and on and on.. I still am getting troops that I cannot use as the allies in 2 444.. and soon those Brits in Burma will be putting a dent in the Imperial forces there.. Zeta has a long thin line of troops stretched out along the Rail to MAndaly, and I have been systematicaly attacking both troops and Resources ports to cut supplies.. did it help?? I cannot tell about the supplies but I know the troops have been taking a pounding the last 8 months or so...
after we get Rangoon, then Bankokis within easy range and I plan on reduciong it to dust.. and the move down the coast, no need for my invasion into maly. the first was such a disaster!

In Java Z is counterattacking into my strencth in the middle... good luck to his one cut off bas there in central Java.. Soerbaja now is really getting the heat, and after it fall those heavy inf guys will march down to Batavia

Z really put the hurt on some MSW and one DD and some AK in a two part spank me raid in JAva.. caught with my CV pants down, and Andamand Island...
I now added Two CV fleets and am hunting

We will see, these guys are cve heavy so they are very slow....

next up will be the attack on Davao.. Dejangelus just fell, and Morotoi and Mendeno are right there along with some very strong reserves.. read MARINES these guys where all set to hit Kwejilian untill recon showed another 216 CD guns .. Z is such a NAsty with MINES and CD guns on ATOLS.. you would think he want to win !!...

Speaking of winning Z has over a 2-1 lead.. My goal is to get it down under 2-1 before going to KAmi land.. then hitting him as hard as possible troops troops troops every where troops.. they cannot be kamikazied unless on ships !!!!

He has so many planes. I do better by not getting my planes shot down as he loses like 7 or 8 a day to ops becasue so many are flying from several fields. Moved out of Mandalay and Rangoon so I would not get trapped. I guess my goal in the game has become to protect the Home Islands. He has been a smart player and has not taken on much where I have troops yet. He did in Bruma but he had way more troops than I did so I lost. I will lose in Java but it is a little tuffer for him there as at least I have some troops with assult strentgh. He has not got into really any fights with any of my divisions in NG or the islands he moved through. Now he is facing some in Java.

Moulmein evacuated... looks like a wholesale retreat away from the area...
plane loses from a carrier ,mine , against an ak/ap reinforcement group steaming toward java under lba umbrlla.. well it leaked alittle as my planes tore into those ships, and his counter attack hurt his planes

So, I have a split rail road between Rangoon and Moulmein.. go both ways?
Daveo will be attacked soon

Java will be completely over run soon... not too soon as Zeta is using this time to poach for straglers... saw his CV group in the Indian Ocean recently.. beware the planes of Z.. if I can cut them off from Singapore I will sink them to a ship.. seems like they are using the dreaded 42 stealth ships I have come to fear so much[:-]

Pagan and Moulmein fell today, nice that Z fell back to Tavoy as Moulmien has a nice large field closer to Bancok and other nice juicy air targets I think we ca ntake bases all the way to Goergetown areea before the activation begins.. in Java no new
The march on Daveo has begun and several jap ships wher bombed recently in the north side near Cagayan.. retreating? adding? bringing supplies? I couldnt tell...

Had to retreat to get to a better line of defense and not to get trapped in Burma. I do not think I will stop him in Mayala as he has a ton of troops and more planes than I could ever have.

Soerbaja, not having been cut off, lasted awhile, it isn't over officailly, but it is down to a one fortification, and the ratio of loses is 8-1 or so.. Z raided with seemingly ALL his reamining carriers at Davao area.. caught me shuttling carriers from that zone to reinforce others... sunk a few but badly beat up MANY.. yet he cannot a ford to stay around in lba range.. too bad they where not detected and sent to a the depths...
I get 7 essex class plus about 10 cve's out of port soon.. hehe time to play deathstar cometh.. anew play featuring the everpresent Avengerr the long ranged Helldiver and several supporting catmembers new to this stage the Corsair and the Hellcat... seems like I can smell the coast of China and the Philipines calling me... I do want ot utilise these fleets on some raids before I activate the KAmikazzis.. so I am content to inch forward in PI.. and JAva is a slugfest, Z is retreating out of the ceter once he saw my 4 follow up divisions... It isn't that my troops are better.. its that the Allies can utilies so much is one area and then the next while the Japs do not have the luxery, plus getting the heck pounded by air
example last few turns blasted Bankok severly soon Tavoy.. Hanoi etc will no long be usefull for much

Maybe the next strategic feture would be railyard destrustion!

In Java only the two end bases .. Batavia and ? remain in A's hands.. and after I can bomb Palambang.. a concession given as Z's bleeding fighters.. Palambang and Singapore will be ruined... My troops fresh fromthe jungle is Burma are getting a well desrved rest... but not for too long .. and Z's master stroke failed when I moved several hundred LBA into Morotia and Dedjangus,sp?.. and he thought better of having his remaining fighters get bet up fending off 38's and 24's.. granted it would have been costly to me also, but I can replace planes quickly.. and guess what . I think my first B-29 is due soon.. Davao made contact and the 25 other units.. including hte 1 and 4the MArine Div's are surronding that poiint of pride for the emperor.. almost was surprised I didn't see Yamato raiding .. but I do have a good amount of air power.... I am at just under 2-1 in points .. and as soon as I overrun. the MAly penninsula and PI, tht will balance out nicely... then what .. I keep looking at post Kamakazi Activation Bases.. any thoughts from the crowd? Formosa?
