Hi all,
ORIGINAL: Terminus

Well, I'm coughing up unidentifiable substances, but with all of Dixie's problems, I guess mine aren't so bad.

Should we call DEA? [8D]

Weather is going to be above freezing for the first time in 10 days. I may go plant a banana tree in celebration [8D]

Good morning all.
-17F. and -31F. wind chill. It hasn't been above freezing since the end of deer hunting nearly three weeks ago. I don't see it getting above freezing for quite some time. Not in the near future anyway.
Jeff and I are still playing JTCS Rising Sun. Currently playing `Trouble Along the Ilu'. I as Ichiki's force. Probably going to start the AE: Guadalcanal Scenario. Today or tomorrow. I'll be playing as Japan. My first time as Japan.

Thanks for the well wishes guys, Mk2 was successfully (eventually) turned right way up. Mrs Dixie is staying at her parents' place tonight as it's left her a bit sore but it alles gut other than that. To be honest, I was so much trouble they chopped me out, so clearly (according to everyone else) this is my fault as well.

The off-road stuff was brill. Plunging around steep hills and through some big puddles is fun enough, it's even better in the dark though. I might have taken a few hills quicker than was ideal though.... I also left the other two vehicles in the distance on the roads back home, despite the fog and darkness we were up to top speed and stayed there [:D]

Woke up at 0430 this morning when the power went out. Normally, it wouldn't be too bad except that it was 20F outside. Fired up the gas logs (We don't have them for decoration, we have them for just such occasions!) and went back to bed after checking my smart phone to make sure I had cell coverage and the power loss wasn't regional. Sure enough, only about 30 square miles of affected area. Sounds like someone had a meeting with a power pole... Hope they are OK...

Anyways, at work and ready to go. Been gone at training first part of the week and need to get caught up on my turn with rjopel. We are into September of 1945 and the Bear is coming out of the woods after waking up and looks really pissed. I hope I can hold on for another seven months...

Most likely a squirrel or some other varmint got fried on a transformer at a sub-station.
