Go Broncos! Tithe

Guess I'll have to take the home team in tonights game. Weather should be a balmy 45 degrees at game time!

I just benched Welker in both fantasy leagues. Now they say Reggie bush will not play, I'm dead meat in the pro-league.

Woke up at 0430 this morning when the power went out. Normally, it wouldn't be too bad except that it was 20F outside. Fired up the gas logs (We don't have them for decoration, we have them for just such occasions!) and went back to bed after checking my smart phone to make sure I had cell coverage and the power loss wasn't regional. Sure enough, only about 30 square miles of affected area. Sounds like someone had a meeting with a power pole... Hope they are OK...

Most likely a squirrel or some other varmint got fried on a transformer at a sub-station.
20F.? You are so spoiled!

I have lived in the temps you are going through. I was smart enough to move south were I can be spoiled... [;)]

Really? ESPN said he was playing.

Nothing personal, but I won't mind if he sits this one out [;)]

I had to go through Oklahoma from Western NY first, but, yes, you can leave anytime you want. [:D]

Hmmm. That explains the lack of guard towers and border crossings into Minnesota.[:'(]

Yeah, I see him as questionable now. Dosn't matter after what Manning didn't do for me last night. [:(]

We're at a real crossroads. I have a great job offer in hand from a company in NE Pennsylvania. It's a high pressure: high reward sort of position with a great company.

On the other end of the spectrum is a move to San Antonio to be with my wife's family. We're kind of isolated up here in MN from our families. We miss growing up with our parents, siblings and-for the first time-our new nieces and nephews. My wife would be the only one working if we ventured down that path. Doable, but risky financially.

So-a dream job or family? I'm sure no one else has ever made this decision before. I'm the first in the epic history of mankind, I'm sure. It's just a very, very difficult decision.

It's wonderful that we have a choice. But we've never been in that position before. We've moved around because that's where the jobs were. We don't have to do that anymore. And frankly, it's scary.

Wish that I did. You have to choose your own path. I assume that San Antonio would be decent for your line of work, even if you changed specialty a bit??

Maybe one bit of advice: That company might seem great, but here are no great companies, only great people. The 'other kind' always get in charge eventually. Keep your powder dry.
