Finished season 3 of the second Battlestar Gallactica series (the one from earlier this decade, not the one with Lorne Greene from the 1970s). Pretty good so far-certainly watchable. Don't know if I'll find the energy for continuing on with the entirety of the series though.

Mrs. Chickenboy and I are woefully behind some other well-reviewed series. So I ask the 'greater collective wisdom' of this forum the following: "Should we try the Walking Dead or House of Cards next?" Never seen either series and have avoided all substantive discussions of same as well.

What say you all?

I have finally caught up on all six Game of Thrones series. Suffice to say I am hooked [:)] Can't wait for the next one [:)]

The last episode certainly escorted a good many major characters off the planet, didn't it? [8D]

Yes it did. Oh well I still have a few characters I'm rooting for left.

I suppose it is time I went back to Game of Thrones. I've only watched two seasons.

Anyone seen Wonder Woman? My eldest little warspite is keen to see it (big Marvel fan and is pleased there is a heroine for a change) and given, from the trailers, there is a bit of a WWI type story going on I thought I might take her to see it.

Apparently not....

A very good film, thoroughly entertaining and Gal Gadot is perfect for the part.

True. I don't go to movies any more myself. Don't care for crowds, or bedbugs. I just wait for the DVD, usually the Director's cut or something like that.

I must admit I rarely go. The biggest reason is that, sadly, many people just don't know how to behave anymore and consideration for others is just not on their radar. When I do go it will usually be for something special - e.g. Dunkirk next month - and I pick my times. I normally try and get the earliest showing so that it will be less busy.

I was pleasantly surprised therefore when watching WW the other day. I went in the early evening and the cinema was pretty full, but there was no annoying or anti-social behaviour that I heard or saw.

GoT Spoiler Alert

So basically, when it comes to the big battles, he's just guesstimating? Also, how does he know Robb's wife was not carrying twins?

He only had one job [:D]

A new Sky Atlantic production starts tonight - Riviera. Let's hope it lives up to the hype.

Begun watching the new TV-series El Chapo. Three episodes in and I am hooked.
