You bastard![:D] Fireplace got the workout this weekend. It may hit -8F. today. A warm up on Christmas +12F.[8D]Lobster and T-bones.[&o]ORIGINAL: USS America
It's been extremely warm (records both Sat and Sun) here, in the upper 70's, but today's rain is bringing cooler temps. I just saw the hourly forecast temperatures through 8am Christmas morning: 29 degrees. If that holds true, my Christmas morning swim in our new pool will be an official Polar Bear swim. [:D]
I'm gonna make sure our new fireplace is already cranked up to go with my eggnog post swim. [8D]

Third low pressure storm(ish) system this winter to move through here tonight and tomorrow. I'm happy there's no snow to go with it.

You had better turn off the heater today so the water temp can keep pace! [:D]ORIGINAL: USS America

Heater is off. It's a heat pump, so we're planning to start using it to warm up the pool around the end of March.

And he made an excellent product ,with intent to defend his country. You can't fault him for what others did with it, any more than you can fault Winchester , Colt, Noble or a host of other inventors. I have one of his weapons , and I am constantly amazed with it's reliability.

Always lurking, rarely posting -- I wanted to say thanks to the devs for creating a richly detailed game, thanks for a dedicated core of players willing to share their hard earned knowledge and a special thanks for the hard core nutcases willing to mod and post AARs to attract newbies to jump off the deep end and give this cold splash of strategic planning a swim.
