The war moves on I accept 100% that there is nothing in it we move on.

All TF's are going to unload while I consider next moves.

1st Aus Corps is being held at Manila until my next move is clear

OK lets think about this I face the same choices just a little delayed.

A. Northern strike at Sasebo
B. Southern Strike at Shikoku
C. Deep Strike further East
D. Attack Ananami
E. Attack Formosa

A. and C. for all the reasons when I changed my plan earlier I still view as to risky.

I have until March 46 so 5 months to achieve something.

B. is still my favoured option although D is less risky and may need to be rescored.

E is possible but I may do it as a subsidiary opreration for a reinforced 1st Aus Corps instead - i..e dont divert them to India.

I think despite everything I am going to continue with B but after all my troops are unloaded I withh reconsider.

[:D][:D][:D]

Does anyone know when the game ends is it 1st March or 1st April ? - it makes a difference as to how risky I am.

If its 1st March I am going on with original plan of a straight assault on Shikoku and sod the consequences

If its 1st April I am looking at Apanananami and then a follow on invasion somewhere in Feb 46.

OK in India things are moving along nicely armoured spearheads are driving for the Bombay Road junction.

A reinforced Division has diverted to take Panaji and secure my seaward flank. c 1,200 AV are still driving north.

The blocking force at Lucknow is digging in in the forest.

Basically I want to isolate Bombay as soon as possible as the reduction process will take a lot of time. Round the clock air assault bombardment TF's and a steady bombardment attack will eventually take any base.

Most of my army will divert to take other bases and cities in India while th esiege force operates.

As I have decided to hold 1st Aus Corps in Manila for now and not to divert more strength to India I probably dont have enough to take the bases quickly I am summoning troops from all corners and have pulled in 1/3 of a Chinese Corps to garrison Madras.

I may pull in the rest of the Corps (all paid for in PP's) to garisson my LOC

I have over 10,000 PP's in the bank but have agreed with PZB that I wont just buy out the Russians and use them to support invasion of the HI.

Sorry things have been so exciting over on my other AAR this one has been a tad quiet.

Not a lot to say Panaji should fall quickly I know this is a sideshow but I am really enjoying it !!!

Bombay looks to be well garrisoned so unlikely to fall anytime soon.

OK lots of updates

Panaji fell and my troops have cut off Bombay looks like a lot of Japanese inside little chance of taking it until its been heavily attrited I will move a couple of Divs in and send in all the arty I have in theatre after they have been reduced a bit I will attack.

In the meantime I will take back more of India with my other troops and secure my LOC - no real rush in this theatre.

In the West my TF's have arrived at Ishieak.

They will be heading East soon only a few days steaming to the objective
