I think it's a good move [&o]

For some reason, the older you get, the more important famliy/friends life gets on the expense on those 'career' things that were important just some years ago [:)]

Missed moments at a high rated job is nothing you would never regret when getting older. Missed moments with family and friend would, though.

I'll keep my fingers crossed hoping you get lucky with selling the house.

Hi Per,

Right now, I'm playing the role of Michael Keaton ("Mr. Mom") while my wife rakes in the big bucks. We'll almost certainly move to San Antonio, but the question is 'when'? It's unrealistic (I think) to get the house on the market in the next 3 months for the Spring 2014 market. More realistic is next year's (2015) market. I think that's what we're gunning for-but I've only been at this 'job' one week. What the **** do I know? [:D]

ETA: I turned down the very interesting job offer in Pennsylvania. Were I single, it would have been a different choice. But, at some point, family means more than money / an interesting job.

Life is a trip-I would have never uttered that expression a handful of years ago. But now it seems...genuinely true.

With age comes wisdom... at least for some. LOL I think you've made a fantastic choice, my feathered Brother!

I loved it, and actually managed to finish it off in about a month. Started Dreadnought after that, but it was slower going, and I had the book borrowed from the library, so it will wait until a later time.

Back from a hockey weekend in Winston-Salem, NC. Alex played fantastic in his two games and some family got to come and see him play in each game. Even though we have several more weekends of hockey through the beginning of March, this turned out to be the last "travel" weekend of the season. Much "hotel lobby fun" was had by all the parents. If you haven't seen it yet, I highly recommend watching the documentary "Blackfish".

I am never giving Sea World another penny of my money.

Good morning all. What a great weekend. Hockey team gets the weekend sweep. Yesterday 40F. Neatened up the sidewalk. Sat on the front steps and had beer no coat or jacket. Then went in and watched football for the afternoon. A gorgeous day.[:)]
