RE: THE THREAD!!!
I'm looking to purchase an Arisaka rifle, preferable early war variant with the insignia intact? How expensive of a proposition would this be?

I sincerely despise having to post a reply in the the war room, but must less than in this Thread!
However, my father brought home an Arisaka from the war, which he discovered in the caves of Yokohama following the surrender of the Japs in 1945. It was quite an accomplishment to load it and other items in the bowels of DD686 and get in home to Idaho in the Magic Carpet run.
I do have a Jap 6.5mm and a Jap rifle bored out to a 30.06. I used them for rabbit hunting in my childhood and my teens and early 20's. I may be interested as my children had absolutely no interest in what occurred since they were born, other than some obscure writings from a couple thousand years ago.
I would much rather that these antiquities go to someone who appreciates the effort required to retrieve them from the evil Japanese Empire than to someone who thinks "what a piece of crap".
Send me a PM if interested.

RE: THE THREAD!!!
Sorry, USS America. I have no need for money. Should I send you some? The thread represents the Denizens of the Deep who have attempted to disrupt attempts to improve the game from many years ago and instead rely upon on crap such as which you profess. Thankfully, the worst of the worst have been banned for life or have chosen to go elsewhere.
The "Thread" has no qualities that should enable it to remain within the War in the Pacific realm. It appears to exist for those for whom saying "UNP" or "INP" is one their life's major accomplishments.
And YES, I am ashamed to have posted in it - but very rarely there is a post for which a reply is deserved.
Sincerely -
Me
