Nice work Ryan! The good news is that I have left on my list exactly 11 Allied a/c! Although that does not include the various CAF/RTAF and the few various French a/c that have been requested, nor does it include the numerous "Plan Orange" era a/c that were requested. Here is what I have remaining that will fill those 11 slots:

Sikorsky S.42
Sikorsky S.43 (JRS-1)
Consolidated-Vultee XA-41
Curtiss XF14C
Curtiss P-62
Avro York
Blackburn Botha
deHavilland Sea Mosquito TR.33
deHavilland DH.91 Albatross
deHavilland DH.95 Flamingo
Short Seaford

(Missing the cut will be the Martin P4M Mercator, although I will do the a/c for those that may want to add it in on their own)

As far as Japanese a/c that would fit in this era, I have the following:

Mitsubishi B2M2
Mitsubishi Ki-2-I
Mitsubishi Ki-2-II
Mitsubishi Ki-10 "Perry"

Then the rest of the Japanese a/c I have are again "Plan Orange" types.

Been working on the Axis mod; mostly adding various art so that the Axis modder has a nice rounded selection of German planes:

Ju-88A
He-111H
FW-190 Radial (Greyish Naval Camo for ops from CVs and Land Colors)
FW-190 Dora (Greyish Naval Camo for ops from CVs and Land Colors)

Need to do:

FW-190 Radial in Greenish colors for the FW-190F and so ground attackers...remember that the traditional tan/green mottled camo of the 190F and so on was ideal for the steppes of Russia -- not so good in vibrant overgrown jungle of asia...

Bf-109 F or G models (land only -- the only model that goes on a carrier is the 109T...having 1/3rd of all 109s built lost in landing/takeoff accidents is not good for a carrier fighter)

Bf-110 (Day and Night Fighter)

Ju-88G

He-219

Arado Flotplanes for German cruisers/etc.

That should enable a decent mix of operations for a japanese/german player.

May I suggest dropping the Curtiss P-62? All of Curtiss' attempts to build a fighter that was not the P-40 failed utterly and were giant piles of poo.

I would suggest adding the Hughes F-12 and Republic F-11 Rainbow as long range recon platforms. But I don't know if they have sufficient "appeal".

Ju-88G Nightfighter
Ju-88C Heavy Fighter (in greenish camo); can be used to attack ground people

I can try putting in a floatplane so that Italian ships in the PTO can have scouts. But other than that...I can't see how Italy can sustain a true global effort -- their economy was significantly smaller than that of Germany's. I can put in a fighter or two -- MC.205 definitely -- anything that can maintain it's own with a P-51 is worthy of inclusion.

Oh; MadManRick; I am going to put in the P-82B/C Twin Mustang Nightfighter version -- apparently quite a few were ordered to replace P-61s in the nightfighter role; but due to the end of WW2, that had to wait for postwar. Certainly, the P-82 Nightfighter versions were 30 MPH faster than even the P-61C.

If you seek anything that can fight agains a P-51, the "serie 3" are the answer: MC.205, Regiane Re.2005, and Fiat G.55. If I remember well, there was a prototype of the last one, armed even with a torpedo..
Well, and the SM.79 should appears, at least, because was the more sucessfull (and built) italian warplane at war. ;) .

Ah, the P-82...one of my all-time favs! In my opinion THE best Mustang variant, why? Because everything's better in twos!

Speaking of F-82s:

Link to very big picture I took at USAFM

The F-82B on display, Betty-Jo, flew from Hawaii to New York on Feb. 27-28, 1947, a distance of 5,051 miles, the longest non-stop flight ever made by a propeller-driven fighter. Betty-Jo came to the museum in 1957.

Link to very big picture by me of F-82G

This is done up in the colors of the first USAF fighter to score a kill in Korea, a F-82G.

Version 2 now up

Link to 11.5 MB ZIP

Axis Planes added

In Allied, I changed #125 - SR-1 to P-82 Nightfighter, since that has more use than a random experimental late 40s British seaplane jet fighter.

This expands bitmap 338 to show:

1.) Olive Drab P-39 with 1942 Star in 1942 (new)
2.) Olive Drab P-39 with 1943 Blue/White Bars in 1943 (existing)
3.) Silver P-39 with 1943 Blue/White Bars in 1944/45/46 (new)

This lets us add advanced P-39s like the P-79 and P-63 to the game; since it's really remarkable how alike all the Cobras were -- to the point of having to count rivets and panel lines...

This will be included in version 3 of my Unified Sides.

I've played around a bit with Paint.Net. So here are a few Axis candidates not yet on your list:

Ju88 A-17 in Japanese markings. This was the torpedo bomber variant; it carried two torpedoes:
