Well, it seems France has been invaded by some previously unknown race of alien beings, (and NO, I'n not talking about the US invasion of Gibralter). These new beings coexist with my units, even stacking with them, yet I cannot identify them or attack them.

It´s a bug in the AT AI-engine. I showed it to Vic some time ago. And he sent me a patch that prevents it from happening. Dunno why he hasn´t made it public. Nothing to do about it now. But my guess is that the person handling the Brazilian AI turns, hasn´t gotten the patch.

My US subs have spotted the Brazilian transport when passing the coast of Portugal. But as they seemed to be on their way to attack some French territory the subs did not attack the transports (there was no escort) but waved a hello and sailed on. [:'(]

Anyway, as Brazil has not declared war on France (as you can not attack them) and they should not have been able to land at your coast. We should get ride of that unit. I will send subs to sink the transports, so the AI cannt ship more units. And I will do some naval bombardment to destroy the infantry. I am at war with Brazil and it should work. Give me two turns to get some battleships into position.

Hope my commanders will be aware of the reef near Bordeau [:D]

Meanwhile US subs spotted the Brazilian transport vessels on their way back. But the commanders of the subs seemed to be puzzled by the large amount of targets (around 50 transports) and missing escort. The attack failed and all 10 subs missed their targets - no vessel was sunk. [:D]

We should try to get Cassus to pass his role into RTF. It seems we end up waiting the most for his turnaround.

Hey, is that really true? As far as I know I had sent it. The problem is I'm in Britain and my home computer is in Australia. The last turn I sent was 47, so I'm getting them to check if there's a 48 there and, if so, send it on. I'll let you know ASAP. If you want to resend turn 48 to kfraser@une.edu.au I can see if I've played it before. I'm as keen as anyone, but it does take a long time to have a turn and I have a busy life.

Before we force anyone to leave, we should first look whether it is a problem due to sending or receiving turns and should look for a solution. I will post here that I have sent the next turn and Casus_Belli might please check here. In case he has not got the turn although I posted it has gone out he can ask for it by mail. I think checking twice a week would be ok. It is quickly done and so it is not too much effort if we ask for a check here within the suggested time steps.

So lets first talk with the one who might cause delays, look for a solution and nd only as last step decide whether a player should be replaced. I think this would be fair.

I have received the email that Juergen sent and I will play the turn now. I'm not entirely convinced it's always me, but if you want to kick me out of the game, go ahead.

I did not receive turn 48 until Juergen sent it just today, so there's something going on. I've done the turn and sent it to Juergen, because I don't have Chris's address with me. I can get it, though.

I know that in the games I play with casus , he always turns his turns around in a timely manner so I will bet that there is something else happening.

There had been others who caused delays as well. Noone should be kicked out.

We are on track again (I have sent the turn to Grumpy) and we will look for better communication to notice when something goes wrong.

I don't want anyone kicked out, I just want the game to move. My last turn was sent on 10/12. We should be able to manage 1 turn a week right ? It's been 19 days and it's still not made it around. Sorry for being pointed, but we can do better.

Alright, it turns out the turn did make it to my inbox at home, but was not sent on to me here, so in this case it definitely was me that caused the delay. I fully agree about turning turns around and keeping the game going, and I do my best to do that (thanks 82nd). It's hard with this one because there is a lot of logistical slog and a turn can take ages - that wasn't the problem this time, though. Anyway, I beg your pardon. If someone wants to take over the side, well, I guess I would understand, but I'd rather play it out.

Turn sent to Bombur. He's out until Monday I believe. Trying to bring some new weapons to bear.
