Yes, my idea is keep pressing as much as I can in China (altough now I bet I'll be forced to stop a bit)...and, as all his main naval assets are at Java, tried to capture as much islands as I can at Marshalls...

2th, August:

SS STINGRAY got 'the guy who dud' awards: PB YANKO MARU and xAK HINO MARU#3 got 2 fishes but noone exploded.

Night bombardment at Oosthaven by the following BBs: YAMASHIRO, HIEI, HARUNA, YAMATO (oh, she is on the air, now!), and KONGO. Some casualties and AF and Port are closed but not too much disruption.

HORN ISLAND is bombarded by B-25s, B-24s and B-17s.....

At TARAWA my ships are about to unload the last LCUs and will go back to Pago Pago.  Several convoys will sail to the zone to add more troops to this hub.

KB spotted two hexes SW of Oosthaven. SS'packs on route.

Enemy LCUs spotted at Oosthaven: 21th Division, 53rd Division, 48 and 16 Recon Rgt, plus 4 regiments. Soon the aussies and Desert Rats will have their hands full!!.

It's "funny" because there is one unit (3rd of Hussars) with 16 Valentines ( a good fast unit ) which will disappear at 20 days... xDD I dunno what to do with them...

CHINA:

SEYDLITZ at COUNTERATTACK !!! At Henchow he has 5.500 AV fighting with 3.300 mines... and he is trying to trap the mines !!! However, my advances by the sides make the following days very interesting. Should I have to stand and fight, or even retreat ?. I have a lot of units there, if they are trapped, Iwould lose 3.300, and that HURTs. Dunno, dunno..[:(]

WoW!  8/3/42 and so much of the map is allied.....   Trust me, he has a lot of issues to deal with.  All you have to do is make him waste supply because he is going to have issues keeping industry working very soon.  My guess is that he is down to 150-160 days oil on Honshu and 60-80 days fuel.  Soerabaja takes a while to get fuel or oil coming out because he will need a lot of fuel there to support his naval activities. Balikpapan is the only strong resource he has.  Bomb it, Bombard it, intercept convoys with cruisers, etc to take some of that away.  Your efforts in China will cause him to burn a lot of supply- supply that he cannot replace given the coming shortage of liquid cargoes.

Sometimes things said in Nitwit sound very different in English.

A new shock attacks made by the Burma Corps ( BFF Brigade and 17th Indian Division ) destroys the 6th Tank Regiment and left the 21 Medium Field Artillery Bon damaged. I'm next to Moulmein, which be pummeled in a few days by my Eastern Fleet. Besides, as a japanese indian offensive is now almost impossible, 18th and 2nd UK Divisions plus two UK brigades have received orders to be redeployed at Burma Front. With Rangoon in my hands again, several new options show themselves....The only downside of the turn is the sinking of the CL JAVA by the SS I-10 near Java. With orders of raid a "moping up TF", was torpedoed at night with 3 fishes and hit the bottom at full speed.

Tarawa is now fort 3, and Pago Pago has a new AF level 6 ( now with the front 600 miles away [8|] ).
