Excellent response - that's five of us so far - hopefully we can get at least a couple more before the end of today? [:)]

Right, with the domestic football season all but over, lets turn our attention to the Euros.
Who is going to win?
My prediction is Netherlands or Germany. In that order [8D]
The other strong squads that could win: Spain, Italy, England, France (hmmm).
But something has to be said about the Euros: surprises are really possible. That's what we saw many times: for example Greece and Denmark won it.
And now why am I NOT counting the favourites (Spain)? Because of three factors. 1) they already won a lot, and people get tired of that, yes, it happens [:D]; 2) the bad relations between the Barça and Real Madrid players (club utter rivalry); 3) the economic crisis (the morale variable is important on my book, yes, even if the players drive Porsches and Ferraris)
Which also means I don't see the Italians winnning it: the recent football corruption scandals show something is really rotten...

Poland versus Greece ends in a 1 - 1 tie.
I suspect that there are a lot of disappointed polish fans out there. But all in all I think a draw was fair.

It was 1-1 - you said 0-0
Therefore correct result = 1 point (and you would have got 2 it you had said 1-1).

I am with you now. I misunderstod before and thought it was 2 points for result and 3 for score. One point for result and 2 for score works for me.
So how many points do you have? [;)][:D]
Edit: I am pretty sure that I will be beaten by Warspite in this contest so I better taunt now because soon it will be to late. [:)]

So just so we are crystal on this - its 2 maximum i.e. if you get result and score correct. NOT 3.
Listen - I can take a bit of taunting no problem - I support Spurs so I'm used to it [:D]
I am only concerned with ONE thing. One of our two American participants DON'T win - oh the shame if that happened!! [;)][;)]

Pav wasn't given enough of a chance really at Spurs. He had talent just never given a period of time to settle in and hit his stride.
