A nice win for the Germans, but why no port strike? The choice could cost many Axis subs thiers life, inorder to get the same result at sea.
Now like to see what the allies will respond with. Thier TRS status is not so good, they could any way send a army and division to Rotterdam, right?
warspite1

Well there seems to be two possibilities here:

a) I don't know what I'm doing
b) I had 4 rebases. I wanted all 4 (I actually needed 5) and Italy wanted 1 - so that left me with 3. Yes I could have strat bombed and/or I could have port struck. And I could also have left 2 Stukas and a fighter miles from the front line. If the turn continued and my subsequent attacks stalled because of a lack of aircraft I'd no doubt be questioned over that too.

The game is about choices - but I appear once again to have made the wrong one?? Although I don't know how I was supposed to know the turn would end (10% chance) or that I would definitely have hit the TRS (no idea on the odds).

Ho hum.... It looks like the answer is (a)

or that I would definitely have hit the TRS (no idea on the odds).

There was no TRS in Netherlands according to set up in post #247 which mentions its in Dutch Guyana.

I never port strike Dutch naval units because the TRS is never there. Cp's are interesting, but only 2? And, I try to over-run the naval units anyway with an invasion.

Right I am away from the computer for the next few hours. If he comes on line, Ormster has instructions for the end of turn, production etc but I would like to be involved in the next turn so please take no actions involving Germany.

TURN END (USSR and France)

PRELIM PRODUCTION
France is good, Iraqi oil is saved to Syria and another oil is used to production. (Production is 7)
USSR saves one oil to Alma Ata. (Production 8)

STAY AT SEA AND RTB
All CP's stays at sea.
French CA in Baltic sea stays at sea.
French CA in West Med box 3 stays at sea, BB Provence in box 2 stays at sea. Remaining fleet in West Med returns to Marseilles.
CA's in CSV and East Med stays at sea.
TRS in CSV returns to St-Nazaire. CA in CSV box 0 returns to Marseilles (even if Italian sub can intercept it).
Submarine in Italian coast returns to Marseilles.

USSR TRS returns to Sevastopol.

USE OIL
USSR reorganizes all (1 oil from resource)
France reorganizes all but CA Duguay, CA Algerie, CA Primaguet, BB Lorraine, BB Dunkerque and BB Jean Bart (Damascus oil first, saving oil in Bayonne). I had trouble getting this right. First reorganize units that can use Damascus oil until that oil is used.

BREAK DOWN
USSR breaks down INF in Odessa into 2-3 INF div and 1-4 MOT div

PRODUCTION

France (7)
MECH
MIL

USSR (8)
Pilot
2x INF

REINFORCEMENTS

France assigns pilot to Potez.
MIL somewhere
FTR3 to Lille

USSR
2x INF to Sevastopol
GAR to Odessa
Remove pilot from I-16 in Odessa
If your attack is going really well, it's an ambush.

Just checking, what did you want to do with the Hiryo? Is it staying at sea with the others or returning to Tokyo?

The re-rolled initiative result is decisive: Axis 9, Allies 1. Do the Axis wish to bat first for this innings?

So frightfully colonial.

The Allies respectfully hand the tiller over to the Axis in order for them to pursue their bothersome misadventures.
