Turn 6 (Real Time update)

Behind Kiev

DAMN!!! I broke my Moto Division into brigades(starting to seal the pocket with brigades) only to find a darn Airborne brigade is in what I thought to be 3 HQ's. Will get another unit to attack it just in case there is a reserve reaction.

Turn 6 (real time update)

Behind Kiev

Used 16PZ again but really didn't want to use them. They are pretty fatigued but I also didn't want to use my fresh PZ's and Moto yet.

Turn 6 (Real Time Update)

Kiev Encirlement

My Moto unit can get to the hex needed, with no room to spare. Just move another moto to the other swamp on the other side and this is complete.

This is pretty basic encirclement & hoped this helped someone out there. I will finish up the rest of the moves here & give a final picture of the area.

Turn 6

Leningrad

The last port is taken. Only a matter of time now. I also set up a few Air Superiority for any of those pesky airdrops into the city. Hope I catch some.

Turn 6

Center Rail

I have 2 FBD's working in this area and will be converting the single track links to Velikie Luki for another double link. Once that is done then the free FBD will start work on the Vitebsk track which should be open by turn 8 or 9 thus completing the dual track to Vitebsk too. The other FBD will continue on through the Heavy forest to link up with the Leningrad FBD.

Turn 6

South Rail

Pretty much had to deal with the Soviet army around Kiev thus the rail is at the front. I have a PZ Corps resting on the rail line on a depot with refit on with HQ. Won't get much but it will be something.

Just a bunch of movement into position. Started taking PZ and Moto off the line. Move some to depot on rail for refit.

Turn 6

Pskov area

More move to front. This front will be static for a turn more but I hold almost all of the dual track which was my goal. Looks good. I still have housekeeping to do with my HQ's and things, plus move air around(this is for all the fronts).

Turn 6

More movement to front but should be done next turn and may start attacking again here. More than likely wait one more turn for more supplies which is getting closer every turn. Just no rain please. All my games seem like it is perpetual rain.

The Soviet player will see much the same in 1943-44. What goes around, comes around as they say.

I normally try and not have my games go that long if I am playing Germany ;-) Thus it needs to stop raining!!!! Now my Bobo game may because of what I am trying to accomplish but we will see.

Turn 6

Vitebsk

Just as German Recon showed, the way was open for the PZ's. I encircle another 4 divisions. Move more PZ's & Moto's into the area west of Vitebsk and close to Rail line now.

Turn 6

Kiev

Was able to route another Airborne brigade on the river to surround another infantry division. 8 Inf divisions getting CPP for the coming attack on Kiev. Estimate 12 Inf Divisions plus in City. If a city fort in the city could be up to 10 more. We shall go with 12 at the moment. Thus this 12 + 4 in the center + 20 some in Leningrad should be thinning out the Soviets. Only problem is it is taking a great many of my resources to contain and deal with.

Turn 6

Odessa

I have gotten good at knocking out City Forts in one turn worth of attacks. All units are prepped and ready to go with full CPP. Odessa will fall next turn for sure.

I have close to 40 division surrounded not including whatever is in Odessa. Odessa could have up to 10 divisions more.
