The 3rd Shock Army, 56th and 48th armies command the Donets and Rostov areas. Bezugly leads the 48th, Dovator the 56th, and Gusev the 3rd Shock Army.

Much of the reserves here were presumably moved to break Crimea, meaning the front is manned by Romanians. Hardly a threat.

The 37th, 55th, and Coastal Armies command the area at Stalino. Malinovsky commands the 55th, Purkaev the 37th, and Vasilevsky the Coastal Army.

Much of the original german forts have been overran, but we need to be cautious here because blizzard can quickly dissipate and their CVs rapidly regenerate.

At Kursk, we have the 57th, Coastal OpGr, 2nd Shock, 43rd, 5th, and 54th armies. Kurdyumov commands the 57th, Vatutin the Coastal OpGr, Reiter the 2nd Shock, Golikov the 43rd, Grechko the 5th, and Yushkevich the 54th. Forces here have mostly played catchup, but I'll rest the majority this turn given blizzard is set to dissipate.

At Orel we have... Many armies. Orel itself has been abandoned except for an infantry regiment, which I will gladly try to rout.

In total we have the 16th, 24th, 29th, 61st, Neva OpGr, 28th, 52nd, 1st Shock, 40th and 13th armies. Rokossovsky commands the 16th, Bobkin the 24th, Petrov the 29th, Yakovlev the 61st, Gagen the Neva OpGr, Tolbukhin the 28th, Khozin the 52nd, Boldin the 1st Shock, Govorov the 40th, and Korzun the 13th.

The approach to VL has most of our on map mountaineers. The 22nd army is led by Kurochkin, and the 34th by Bagramyan.

ORIGINAL: RedJohn

The power of running away mixed with reinforcing moscow and leningrad with SW/S front units turns 1-3 [:)]

The worst I've had it in terms of OOB was during the artillery patch, as losses were bad enough in both areas that my OOB stagnated.

That is why I believe my game vs MSAG is still going on - during Arty Patch the Soviet OOB was not growing up til the bad weather arrived - which prevented a facerolling Soviet Winter.

The German player here in this game is very brave if they stick around. But I doubt the game will be any enjoyable for them unless they're in for a learning session to treasure on!

I isolate Orel. I was going to just rout it, but I figured I might as well use it as a free win for 18 units.

I meant for this to be a quiet week. I am very bad at pacing Soviet winter, and tend to just wildly lunge at the now low-cv germans. [8|]

3 Holds.

The front. We might see some nasty counterattacks next turn, but I'm hopeful that I've weakened the front enough it won't be an issue.

1942 also arrives, and brings with it exciting AP changes. Here's a screenshot of the build screen for December 1941.
