I remain very satisfied with the situation now, supplies are good, and the bombing has stopped -amazing what the presence of 100 zeros can do
Today 123 zero swept over chandpur - the 1st raid over India for nearly 4 months.
19 P38 and some mowhawks were surprised, and all shot dowmn
6 zeros lost, but 4 to 1 losses are good
Another division here would really make things comfortable -it all depends now where he will push.
Thje bet is north from darwin into the DEI

The tanks attack again , and the forts at soerabaya go down to 1
422 casos to 1197 inflicted, its nearly there .
At last!
The Sally units are a wreck, will send them all to China after this -rebuild, recuperate, and train destroying his industry.
We have 4 divisions, 2 regiments, multiple tank and artillery units at soerabaya, and 4 eng regiments.
All are badly disrupted
I plan to send 1 div to burma, the 2 regiments to Timor, and leave the other forces at soerabaya -the reserve I so desperately need.
Tomorrow the navy will sail into the Indian ocean -time to reveal some CVs to Tabpub -while KB proper goes elsewhere - evil cackle

A quick fight, 1 dd damaged for me, his 3 are sunk quickly
Then they encounter 4 pt boats -sink 1
But a pt boat puts 2 torpedoes into one of my DDs, and she sinks
Off Broome Yammato and co are attacked by mitchells and Bueforts -as soon as I saw this I just knew yammato would be hit[:@]
20 LBA attack-50 zeros on CAP do poorly, nock down 10, but both Yammato and Nagato are each torpedoed

As we enter the nineth month of 42, I am begginning to become very nervous -I suspect that multiple, massive attacks will soon be launched.
But where?
he is not reconning a thing, so no clues at all.
I am now almost frantically trying to get pieces back into place after operation dark room.
If he gves me 2 weeks more I will be happy.
I have also decided that Truk will be where the CVs are to go, not davao, it can be a secondary base for fuel

The biggest problem is lack of troops -OH for those 2 divisions that the bug ate
I am really worried about an attack on moulimien or rangoon, cutting my forces in Burma off
To counter this a division is coming from soerabaya -currently destined for bangkok, but I am tempted to put it south of Rangoon.
Only 2 fast BBs are in the area.
I am aggressively flying deep missions over India with small numbers of betties -hoping to create the impression I am up to something

The plan of defence is simple -in idea
typically a player builds up a big base full of troops, then dispatches the invasion.
-and leaves that base relatively empty -especially if it is a second invasion.
I plan to try to capture that base, behind him.
can i do it -i do not know, but it might be worth a try
Initial attack will not be heavily fought, until i can muster max strength against it.
