As each day passes I grow more and more confident in my troops. The Brits in India have at last found out how to use their arty and are doing a sterling job in the defense of Lucknow.....even the RAF seem to be starting to claw the skies back.
While in Oz the RAAF have been brave in their determined attacks against much greater forces now swarming over Timor.

I stated before that attrition fights in India are ok to me and I don't really need lucknow
I feel i'm pulling Raver's air force teeth :-)
quite many allied a/c lost in last few days
stopping Japanese offensive is not a brilliant achivement as Japan want to stop at this place - again as stated before.
This perimeter offers me best chances in long term fights.
What else should I do
I'm not stupid to try any "serious' offensive in Pacific when so many of my assets are busy elswhere.
However I found sth that can be very painful surprise for Raver soon and what doesn't seem to be used earlier [:D]

In my opinion RAF is short on pilots and able only to limited activity - best proof is limited use of bombers over lucknow

operation yellow officialy finished
losses : 1 AP hunted by hudsons
Southern part of perimeter established
All I can say I dig deep into the ground as allied LBA will enter action sooner or later ( Raver waits for p-38 probably)
I found this part of my empire the most difficult to defend from geographical reasons - would be much better to take Darwin and Derby but I don't want to fight "locked" Aussie units - it would be waste of resources in long term. I decided to use "proper" size forces and forget about region for a while

Bored? Maybe it's just me, but inflicting quadruple my own losses on my opponent has a never-ending fascination!
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

The fact that Sneer is ordering fresh units into India speaks volumes. Based upon this new intel I have decided to hold at Lucknow and to continue shelling him to kingdom-come. My only worry now is being flanked but it is interesting to note that his air raids have stopped at Lucknow. At last the nips have found that they cannot best the mighty RAF !

biggest air combat since beginning of the war over Lucknow
Japan lost 20+ bombers and 50+ fighter ( oscars mostly as 1st wave went without zero groups) against 50+ allied fighters (part hurri/p-40)
combat is a way too bloody - actually it is broken 1/3 of all fighters in battle is shot down ???
battle of britain would finish in 2 weeks at this speed

further air action and decisive allied victory
I lost plenty of oscars but most pilots were green after school in their 30'and 40'sometimes 50'
so nothing really painful
on the other hand allied pilots don't live long enough to be happy from high exp
interesting is that only one pilot from top list was shot today -to be honest the only one KIA on the list :-)
looks like evolution between jap pilots :-)
be good or be dead
all without scores should fear now and be motivated to sucesses
