Sunk ships (10/25/1922)

Well except for the 5:3 dreadnought ratio .. this looks good ... I think you have total of 12 dreadnoughts in the scenario ... with 5 gone ... that leaves 7 ( once the last one arrives, in Dec 22 IIRC ) but against his roughly 20-3=17 ... that means you've essentially lost the ability to fight a main fleet action. But that is perhaps not as bad as it sounds. A lot can be accomplished picking on the non-dreadnought TFs. But you need good intel ... that is one of the aspects of WPO that is so different from WITP .. it is hard to achieve surprise in enemy waters in WITP and impossible to sustain it. But in WPO .. the lack of airplaces (especially in the 1922 scenarios ) makes it possible to be within 1-2 hexes of a major enemy base and not be spotted ! Fortunately you don't have to fight in enemy waters - he does - so that is your advantage - and you need to leverage that as much as possible !

True, I don't think there is going to be anything spectacular happening above water for a while now. Fuso and Mutsu are maimed. Half the Marshalls destroyers need refits. And still I think it was worth it - look at USN destroyer losses!

And minefields are my intel ;) All I need to do is subtract the number of destroyers that identify themselves from the suggested TF size...

Makes me want to remove all ship names from the game. They can retain those in "ship class" field - visible to owner, invisible to opponent.

Quiet days. Forces get shuffled in PI, subs hunted all over Marshalls. 9kg bomb from a B-type blimp sends IJN SS No. 8 down to 31/52/0 - ouch!

IJN is pulling out to Saipan, leaving ASW and subs behind.

In a surprise maneuver, USN pulls all of its submarines out of Marshalls.

IJN will use this to reinforce Eniwetok with some troops, supplies, and fuel, and quite possibly to pull back all above-surface ships, most of which are already at Saipan.

A flanking maneuver is predicted; therefore many smaller islands closer to Japan are being reinforced.

Marcus island will be used as a sub base, with submarines scouting all over CenPac.

USN subs are back across the whole front; nothing near Home islands, but heavy presence in CENPAC.

1st Independent Brigade is being unloaded at Eniwetok to wipe out Americans.

IJN Satsuma still in danger at Jaluit, 45/81 after several days in stasis at 48/75.

Vast majority of IJN concentrated at Saipan.

Maloelap and Mili. Infantry (actually cavalry to be precise), Curtiss H-16s and B-type blimps.
