I am sure this has been asked a lot of times but 90 pages is a looooong thread. Is Tracker 1.8 compatible with DBB?

It should be compatible. If not, let us know and we'll figure out why.

91 pages now... [;)]
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

This is a great tool! Do you guys have a published list of new features you are working on? Should we post in this thread to request new features?
I think I can talk for both of us when I say that not much has been done toward the 1.9 release yet apart from some bug fixes. I implemented some changes for econ mods, did a little bit on the aircraft comparison screen to show device ratings.

Anyway now is a good time to make some suggestions as I'm going to do some coding in the coming weeks so Post away ...

We actually have done a few things (Damian must have forgotten):
LCU victory points
Economic multipliers from the save file instead of hard-coded
LCU paratroop/cavalry notations
Nation filter in aircraft panel
Additional information in the Summary for pilots
And a bunch of bug fixes

Hi cantona - Tracker has been working fine for me, although I've only just loaded in a first turn to help me with planning. I think Tracker is even more of a requirement for DBB because of trying to sort out all the different units and support stuff, since support is tighter than in stock. Plus the various engineer squads are something to be aware of.

Check out my AAR if you want some more tips. I haven't started the game yet, but I've been trying to post here and there as I work through planning. It is scen 28(c - the reduced shipping models, but a lot of it should carry over, especially if you are playing Japan.

Ok, I've got a list around here somewhere I'll post later.

Not until they fix the bugs ... the next release of Java should be compatible without us doing anything ...

[edit] Early adopters usually get the shaft anyway [;)]... and if they don't fix it - then we can look into it.

Thanks,
I will downgrade my Java and wait for 7.1, without Tracker playing WITPAE is a hell

Damian

Thanks for the reply. The install path of the game is different to stock as this is a DBB only install. I made sure everything was correct in the properties file et al. I already deleted the whole folder and resintalled and got the same error messgae. I will try to run it for next turn, if it doesn't work then ill send it to Floyd. For the record its DBB Scen 28-B and game version is 1108p7 of Beta Patch

Yeah, looking at the code it appears the ship class wasn't found. Maybe something wasn't compatible...

If the reload didn't work, send me the save and witptracker.properties file.
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

Kinda strange actually - both Cantona and Stringbag have the same error message - yet the latter fixed it with the right dll ...

I thought this looked like a tracker issue, but maybe it's a dll issue after all ... I guess floyd will confirm my suspicions.
