Hi - i looked way back up the thread and found someone with something very similar and they wewre told to replace the dll with the one in Beta2. I'm also playing DBB. amyhow, after about 6 hours of getting nowhere, it just worked.

I'm using tracker and DBB just fine, but I'm not using the Beta.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear mate ... the dll in the main game folder is the original dll. The beta installer will install all the files into c:\Matrix Games\War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition\Beta2ORIGINAL: cantona2

In this folder you will find the new dll which needs to be copied into the tracker folder
Hope that makes better sense.

Is it possible to add comments to the witptracker.properties file?
I tried to use '#' as the comment prefix but it just reported those lines as errors when tracker started - didn't stop it from running though.
I would like to add some comments to indicated the various options available to save me from looking them up on the Tracker site.

Just getting back into some coding ... still very much a work in progress!
Although I hope by the time I'm finished you'll be a able to pick an individual ship or TF and find the best case scenario for Port rearming (it already gives me this info and suggests the closest port that matches).
Unfortunately we will not be putting all the ammo information in as it would explode the DB, but at least this might be a case of switching between AE and Tracker and finding the best location for rearmament movements. (Although I am trying to think of ways to maybe do this without much of an overhead)
Here is a brief pictorial of work in progress ... also have an alert on torpedo ordinance for CV's.
Any thoughts ... (also can't find any data on small calibre AA rearm costs)

RE: WitPTracker AE Release 1.8 Available!
I have two questions:
1) Does it matter when the turn is loaded? Before running the combat replay or after?
2) Is there a way for the program to track where enemy LCU's are located based on combat and intel? If not, should there be? While the info may not be up to date or 100%, it could be useful.
Thanks for a great program.

1) If Allied, doesn't matter. If Japan, you should not run tracker until after you run the turn and have the updated save file.

Never thought of that. I suppose it shouldn't be too hard to add in...
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

What FK said. But it would be better if you always load at the same point (getting either the "before" picture or the "after" picture, especially with air group transfers).

Eventually we could try to do it, but for now, no. But something I'd like to add.

I look forward to adding this feature, in fact, it was the reason I installed Tracker! Imagine my surprise. I fine Tracker useful for other reasons, but since I only play Allies with AE I dont need it for managing production.

Could you add a Ship Withdrawal date to the Ships data set and possible a Withdraw filter to the Status dropdown in the same data set?
