Not an option if you wish to run Windows and Mac software at the same time.

why would you want too? [:D]

Would you go online in a Windows environment if you had another option? [:'(]

Indeed! Who would ever want to run Mac software? (Both commercially available programs) [:D]

You gotta love saavy Steve Jobs I'm fed up trying to explain to people that essentially, a "MAC" and a "PC" are the same thing....only using different O/S's. I get vacent stares when i tell them that you could put OS-X on a PC and POOF.....you have a MAC only you havn't sold your youngest son into bondage in the process. [:D]

Very true. But in order to put together components of equal value to those that come with Apples, you'd end up spending more money than the Apple is worth. Besides, there is definitely something to be said for the design.

Oh yeah, and thanks for diverting British troops away from Europe so napoleon could hang on to power longer! [:'(]
Very welcome, I'm sure.

A sentiment not shared by the remaining 2 or 3 historians who realize this was not the first, nor would it be the last, war instigated by that pack of pinched nosed, money grubbing, brainless, bible pounding, self important, self righteous, God's self annointed scourge, from the New England colonies.

But hey .. so long as somebody else's militia is getting shot, what do those self righteous swine care.

WRONG!WRONG!WRONG! New England didn't want the war, they were trading with the Canadians and Brits, and making damned good money at it. Madison had to send the Navy to Maine and Massachussets to stop the trade. New England was so upset they tried to succeed. To this day the war of 1812 is known in New England as "Mr. Madison's War". During the war if the New Englad militia could have been bothered to form they would have been more likely to march on Washington than Canada.

Absolutely! They certainly wanted to![&o]

Not really....especially if you build it yourself. GF's iMac has a mid-level nVidia card in it that the apps i run would make cry....the little artsy keyboard is this little metal piece crap thats almost impossible to touch type on and i'm not super impressed with AirPort wireless.....buggy. The built in monitor is very nice though but so is my LG 24" backlite.

I've found OS-X can be just as annoying at times with it's occasional freezes, crashes and you dont really need to know interface.

hoser.

Bob: "Okay, take a sixpack of cans (like normally we drink bottles eh, but for this game you gotta use cans), so take a six of your favorites, right - it's like Russian roulette, it's called The Beer Hunter.

Bob: "Hoser's gonna open six beers, or however many it takes..."
Doug: "No - I'm gonna open one, eh. And then you're gonna open one. So like, if I don't get a wethead you will."

Doug: "You have to hold the beer like right to your head, on an angle, so, like, even if it isn't the one you're still gonna get wet."
Bob: "I'm hopin' this is it." (opens can). Ah.
Doug: "Okay it isn't."
Bob: "Okay, that one didn't explode so you have to drink it."
Doug: "The punishment is not too bad, I think I can take it eh."
Bob: "You get thirsty playin' this game."

Doug: "This is how he hoses me every time."
Bob: "No, don't take that one. That could be the one. No, don't take that one. That - okay, take that one."
Doug: "You're tomentin' me now. I'm takin' the one I took first. (Doug gets a beer shower) Aaagh!"
Bob: "I win. I win every time. Wethead. Towel off. Get out. Oh, you're blowin' the floor. Way to go.
Doug: "You hoser."
Bob: "Beer shampoo."

ok, guess i had Bob's next to last line in my head...i stand corrected... hoser...

Shoulda put a whole bunch of smileys in my post. It was so obviously over the top, chain yanking, never occurred to me anyone would take it seriously. Oh, well. Guess I'll have to find somewhere else to slander Cotton Mather.

Ciao.

I should also invest in smileys......although I'll be totally honest John, I've met a great many people who took that position in seriousness. [:)]

Except, as we all know, the war had actually ended by then.

And you probably would have tried to keep it if you had won.

We didn't start that war with Naploleon you and the French did.[:'(][:'(]

However we did have our little skirmish with the French in 1800.[:D]

I don't have any such issues with my Macbook Pro. The keyboard is great for me, but I have thin fingers. And the Airport works flawlessly. Much better reception than my wife's Dell with a Broadcom chip.
