I think if a Ground Strike is coming in against a face-up / organized FTR, that FTR should probably be the one to intercept Ground Strike, all things being equal, which was the case in terms of the W.Allies desperate need for tactical factors on aircraft right now, as the intercepting Spitfire had the same factors as the P-51s now disorganized on their bases. Other times, an aircraft being Ground Struck might have a good reason to gamble on riding out the enemy Strike.

Euro-Axis. The Western Front (2/3).

I believe the PARTisan unit here should have been able to receive Defensive Shore Bombardment support from the Free French cruiser in the North Sea ?

The Free French Major Power always controls PART units in France. PART units only cooperate with units "from their home country." The FF CA certainly was from France originally...

The Maquis are continuing to see the downside of turning the Free French into just a logistical support force for their other Allies.

Yes, a tactical mistake on the Western Allies (i.e., my) part. I wasn't paying attention ... lesson learned ... pay attention to the units being ground struck and if they include a fighter use that fighter to intercept!

PTO. Southern China. End of Impulse. Nimitz had to move into China before any more US land units could move in and then only one more in addition to Nimitz could enter. Apparently, FTC does apply to advancing after combat? I believe before Nimitz enter China the US was over by 1 unit.

Also, Stilwell, who's under the 2-3 Chinese division, himself doesn't count against the limit? Because between him and Nimitz a total of 5 US units could be in China. Counting Stilwell the US has 6.
