In Colorado rifle otc tags are cheap, but there is just WAY to many hunters out there. It looks like Iwo Jima. Bow hunting is now draw, and there is a 2 year wait for them [:(]

Always been lottery. After the first drawing as many tags as you wanted. $20.00. The deer population is way down from a couple of severe winters. Oh well.

Come to TN. Standard resident sportsman gives you three antlered and three antler less deer per season. There are four separate seasons.

Calling Bozeman now. Routing it into Canada. To late to stop the frost. Not a killing frost though. There is hope for a couple more weeks.

I think the first killing frost for around here is usually in the end of October, beginning of November.
