The China theater at the end of the allied impulse in July/ August 42
The Japanese have enough troops to not worry about their at present out of supply positions in central China and they can afford to wait for the weather clearing again. The Pacific perimeter is fully manned by other Japanese troops and the USA will need another couple of turns to be able to project much of a threatening power against the Japanese holdings. The only present problem is the US SUBs, some now based in India.
US SUBs in Bismarck suffer air attack, 1 SUB damaged and aborted. another aborted.

US Marine divisions invade and take Majuro and Eniwetok. A NAV rebased to Eniwetok.
Russians continue fast retreat eastwards and to the Caucasus. Most of their Armor and Mech have survived.

The massive German lines are not so massive looking now that they are spread out on a very long front and the air force is well behind the front lines. It is getting more difficult to get new German units to the front, it is a lon walk.
