There is air combat above Gort's HQ as the Belgian airforce reacts to Luftwaffe ground support. A Heinkel squadron is aborted.

The BEF, aside from their disorganised and now out of supply artillery, is destroyed.

Yamamoto's assault on Wuhan is a bloody affair, in keeping with the character of the war in China so far.

Despite HQ and air support the Japanese lose the Imperial Guard. But take the city.
