Campaign Series Vietnam 1948-1967: Scenario Scripting

The scripting continues. This weekend it will be to work on the Street Without Joy scenario. A 45 turn long scenario that has the French clearing a large swath of territory from the air, land and sea, hunting for elements of a Viet Minh Regiment.

Happen to be playing John Tiller's Squad Battles Dien Bien Phu, so about time I caught up with development of this game.

Looks like a labor of love for sure, and gives us something to look forward to in November! And quite awesome that CSME will be updated as well.

Yes, a lot written on the Vietnam conflict, and this can certainly be an educational tool.

Of course, the one's who need educating the most probably won't be playing it! [;)]

Playtesting a French Indochina War scenario covering Operation Tulipe as part of the Hoa Binh campaign. The French paras seem to heading into a world of pain!

The French recon units have been key to figure out the Viet Minh troop positions, in preparation to attack... Note the liberal use of Close Air Support missions to soften the resistance (with a new marker to airstrikes and CAS missions, to differ from the Artillery target crosshair markers).

Hand off to Matrix?

If so, what is their timeline, approx. of course, to release?
