Filler Names

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

Hi Pet
(LOL)

well, the good news on that side, is pretty much, if it works in BTR, it works the same way in BoB, and the other way around

they are working off the same engine now, so what you get used to in one, will be there if and when you play the other

Sarge - I presume you have Bickers' list of the BoB pilots (includes FAA, KIA, and units)?

Hello Hard Sarge,

I would like to have two pilots named in the memory of my grandfathers, Helmut Dannenmann and Karl Hartwig. Preferrably a Leutnant or Oberleutnant in a Nachtjagd Geschwader, however, a Jagdgeschwader or Zerstörer Geschwader would be acceptable.

(sorry been having trouble with my connection all day)

the list looks good, but if possable, looking for full names

I know alot of the GB doc's are set up with only the last name (alot of US pilots were shocked at how much info the GE had and knew about them anyway)

ORIGINAL: Hard Sarge
Fl Lt Silvain Domen 349 Belg Squadron (Spit LF VB)

(349 starts with a 71 day delay, but I have conflicking data on start date and plane type, so that may change)

History of No. 349 Squadron.

Motto:"Strike hard, strike home "
Badge: Two morning stars in saltire

No.349 Squadron was formed on 10 November 1942 at Ikeja in Nigeria, as a Belgian-manned fighter squadron for service in the Belgian Congo. After flying Tomahawks for a few months, the squadron's pilots were diverted to ferrying fighters to the Middle East, and at the end of May its personnel were transferred to the UK to reform at Wittering with Spitfires on 5 June 1943. Becoming operational on 13 August, it moved south in October and began flying sweeps over France on 24 October. After covering the Normandy landings as part of No.135 Wing No.349 moved to France in August 1944 for fighter bomber and escort missions until February 1945, when it returned to the UK to re-equip with Tempests. Conversion was abandoned in April and the squadron moved to the Netherlands to join No.132 Wing for the rest of the war, flying armed reconnaissance sweeps over Germany. After a period with the occupation forces, No.349 passed to the control of the Belgian Air Force on 24 October 1946.
