I felt the same two weeks ago, when my team lost against a team from the second division in the Portuguese league cup. Football can be pure nonsense.

according to one UK newspaper he was apparently the best foreign player in the Chinese league for the last few seasons.

Ahem .. call me a cynic but that either (a) indicates that most are only over there for a final pay check or (b) some journalist has simply decided to rewrite a press release (shock horror).

But in a summer of some pretty deranged transfers, that one does have the capacity to surprise.
